I went to this doctor for a yearly checkup. It was my first visit. I had my history taken by a nurse? and a learner. That took a while. Then a student PA came to talk to me. Finally I saw Dr. Demse, OD. I never saw Dr. Gherghina. Dr Demse barely spoke to me. She did not did only a partial exam. The visit as supposed to b a yearly check and my insurance would not charge a copay. But when I saw the statement, the visit was not coded as a yearly checkup. When I spoke to the billing person she said it was only an intake and I had not had a full physical. I am distressed over the way I was handled and will not return there.

I came to this office and was surprised by how large and nice it is. There are several doctors that work at this practice and I have met 2 of them so far. I didn't see any "student doctors" or nurse practitioners there, just what seemed like very capable sharp doctors and polite nurses. I was surprised that the doctor I saw actually *listened* to me, that seems like an anomaly nowadays. For once I don't dread my next doctor's appointment and I am actually looking forward to it. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

This is a fabulous practice with welcoming staff and doctors from a medical family. The practice has changed in recent years with the welcome addition of family members who are highly switched-on doctors in their own right. I used to have long wait times but this doesn't happen any more. The doctors always make me feel important, and always give me the time I need, and they take a great personal interest in my welfare. As a Brit I have always thought the British system to have been the best, but this practice and the skills employed within it by these doctors have made me realise how good the American system can be. I would recommend this practice to anybody and have finally pursuaded my wife to introduce herself into this system by making an appointment for a check-up. For anyone reading this, I would say just try them out and you will see !

I have been going to Dr. Gherghina's office for years. She used to have a nurse practitioner but no longer has one. I have always had positive experiences at this office and consider her very experienced and accurate. The staff is polite and the office is professional.

Not really knowledgeable of common conditions such as GERD. The PA in training was more knowledgeable of GERD symptoms than the doctor. Also, billed me incorrectly and did not want to fix the mistake. I would not return or recommend for medical services.

Dr. Gherghina took a detailed history and she listened and was concern. She was NP and "student doctors" who take part in the examinations and if this makes you uncomfortable I suggest you not visit her office. I found the Dr to be professional and her staff supportive and professional as well. I will continue to visit her.

She herself is a very good doctor. However after I became a regular patient I never saw her unless the Nurse Practitioner needed to ask her opinion or help. I would schedule an appointment, request I would see the doctor and end up with the Nurse Practitioner which I didn't really like. The NP often needed help if it was anything other than a regular cold, ear infection, or strep. My last visit I went in because my heart felt odd, the NP freaked out and called 911. She obviously had do idea what to do and asked why I hadn't gone to the hospital. I told her I called the office asking if I should come in. Overall, I never even saw the doctor that day and ended up getting a call from the NP. I never went back. The way I see it if I'm paying for the doctor, I want to see the doctor, not a Nurse Practioner.
