I entered Dr. Goldshmidt's office and was immediately met with judgement as if I was lying about my symptoms. I had a TBI 3yrs ago and am suffering from post-concussion syndrome and I was expected to take a 567 question psych evaluation, meanwhile, I have a plethora of issues pertaining to this injury and this is the treatment I deserve? The woman that works in the office, I was never introduced to her, I didn't know her name or position, but Dr. Goldschmidt thought it was a great idea to have her in the room when he was challenging my issues and asking me personal questions that I wasn't comfortable in answering, much less in front of her. She would not stop glaring and giving me dirty looks as she was standing behind him. He proceeded to tell me that he has 40yrs experience and another doctor that he knows has 30yrs, my response was "all of this experience and medical school and your friend couldn't even find what's wrong with my eyes?, meanwhile my last doctor was able to find everything that I was dealing with?? 40yrs doesn't mean a thing if you are not compassionate to you patients that allows them to be vulnerable to trust in your experience. Get ready for the backlash if you see him. Be well.
