Came for a drop-in consultation, the receptionist was rude beyond belief to us and other patients. Once we saw Dr. Bertran, he was extremely condescending to us and dismissive of our concerns (he was also very dismissive of the attending residents in the room). He prescribed medication for our 21-month year old that the pharmacist refused to give us due to the fact it was not suitable for children under 4! He also gave us advice which was later dismissed by two other Doctors. Based on these experiences I would question his 'expertise'. We finally went elsewhere on the island and had a much better experience, with good advice at a lower cost. Avoid this man.

I am a second time mommy of a 2 year old boy and an older daughter of 17 years. In all the years I have had to deal with pediatricians, I have never dealt with a pediatrician of this caliber. What an awful human being. Rude, arrogant, and just plain terrible. He treats his staff horribly. He allows a dog in his office (loud and obnoxious little thing) He made me feel like I was a horrible parent and made me feel like I was hurting my child purposely I have never encountered anything so disgusting in my entire life. This is a money hungry business because I cannot bring myself to say it is a practice, with a horrible Doctor. Where did this man get his credentials? Please do not see this visit this doctor.

Incompetent bad bed side manner rude with employees and over priced doesnt have a fee established for patients so he overpriced
