About ten months ago, my physician referred me to the Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre in Orleans to undergo a full range of heart tests. The staff were very friendly, reassuring and efficient in leading me through those tests. The Centre took all of necessary precautions to ensure my safety during the pandemic. My progress was monitored throughout the process by Dr. Kuriakose and I spoke with him recently to get the results of those tests. He took the time to explain everything to me (good news in my case) in language that I could understand. He also offered a number of suggestions about lifestyle habits that would support my continued good heart health. Dr. Kuriakose is a kind and caring man and a dedicated medical professional.

I have been having tests at the Orleans Cardio Clinic for more than 18 months. As this chapter in my health management closes for now, I would like to express my thanks to Dr. Kuriakose and to all of the staff at the clinic for their positive, professional, knowledgable approach. No attention what so ever. No follow-up , even after I have a disease heart issues, progressively getting worst. Tried to get appointment after 2 .5 years, and need to get a doctor referral and start the waiting process all over again. Not happy.

Dr. Kuriakose is an amazing and caring cardiologist. He helped me manage my acute pericarditis over the course of several months and was great at following me over this time. His staff are also very helpful.

That internist said nothing was wrong with my heart and became cold and disconnected because I wasn’t a case of interest anymore. I’ve done all the cardio tests apart from an angio and an MRI which is the only way to detect micro vascular constrictions or syndrome X in women. I have been suffering for years of heart spasms but was not diagnosed properly. I found another cardiologist somewhere else who is more competent for my case.

I was complaining of chest pain when lying down. He listened to every pulse in my body (chest, jugular, femoral and pedal). Conclusion, nothing wrong with my heart but ordered a nuclear test. One month later I spent five weeks in the Heart Institute where I went into cardiac failure, had two stents into heart arteries and a trans catheter aortic valve implant. I cancelled my follow-up visit with Dr K. and thankful for the Heart Institute.

I complained about rudeness and non-professionalism of Dr. Kuriakose to the College of Physicians in Toronto. They responded with a flood of words trying to protect him. College is the institution not just for normal citizens College is the institution for doctors with doubtful reputation in order to protect them from people, who are complaining about them.
They are whitewashing Mr. Kuriakose and giving him support. They are totally ignoring the information from this web site about rudeness and non-professionalism of Dr. Kuriakose.
What a shame !!!
