Dr. Yee has been my general doctor for years and is by far the best doctor I’ve ever had.

Dr Beverly Yee has been my Dr for 6 years and I love her as a physician but everything else has really fallen off. You have an appointment and you wait 2 and 3 til you see her. Her office staff is awful, unhelpful, unprofessional and I'm here in distress from a asthma attack and you have me on hold for 30 minutes. I've been dealing with for 2 years now and it's just no longer worth it to me .
I hope she gets stuff in control before she loses her practice.

Overall Dr. Yee as a person...Wonderful. She's kind, joyful and gets to know you and makes you feel comfortable. But the list for the pros are short...very short. Now let's move on to the cons...
1. Arrive on time for your appointment....you will wait 2 hours before being called to be seen.
2. Once placed in a room....you will spend another hour and a half listening to Dr. Yee talk to other patients about their vacations and such.
3. Dr. Yee enters the room....after spending a hour and a half waiting...you now get to spend a very rushed 8-13 min visit with the Dr....she has a business meeting for lunch...not much time to listen to why you are here today.
4. Scheduling.....often overbooked. Staff sometimes forget to call you to say your appointment has been changed. You have to wait months to see Dr. Yee for an issue that you are having today.
5. Staff.....always rushing, not pleasant when greeting patients as they check in. Can be heard talking about the patients and what they believe the patients issues are (maybe if they stuck in there and furthered their education beyond the MA certificate....)....
6. Lab results...you can't get them in a timely manner because Dr. Yee is always on VACATION. GOD forbid that I tested positive for something that would reduce my lifespan....I would spend the remainder of my life not knowing what I had or being treated for it because she's on vacation.

Maybe a backup plan should be utilized in her office.
1.Have a qualified PA to stand in for her when she becomes too busy or is away on vacation.
2. Retrain the staff in areas of privacy and customer satisfaction. Grouchiness, rudeness, always being rushed or being made to feel unimportant will only drive patients to seek another Dr.
3. Ask the patient what the issue is so that when the appointment is being scheduled the correct amount of time can be allotted per patients issues or concerns and it reduces overbooking.
4. Select one individual to take the refill appointments for the day. It will reduce wait times for patients that are only getting refills as well as keep the small waiting area uncrowned. That individual can can assist with patients once the refill patients have been attended to.

It's too bad I can't bill these people for my wasted time in their offices. If you want to wait forever in a waiting room make an appointment with this dictor. She is very nice & knowledgable, but not worth the wait. I have never been seen withun 20 minutes of my appointment time even when I was lied ti & told I was appointment # 1. Sayonara to this practice with rude staff and no abiluty to plan their time.

I have been seeing Dr. Yee for the past 5 years for a monthly visit. I am very satisfied with the entire office customer service. Dr. Yee did no wrong by not refilling prescription for patients who haven't seen her for 2 and 6 months (out of stat?) This is what responsible and ethical doctor is all about. Why should she risk her medical license with the medical board and DEA by satisfying those irresponsible patients. Kudos to Dr. Yee for the doing the right thing.

I did not get to see the doctor so this review is only based on their service. I have heard many good things about Dr. Yee so I want to make an appointment to see her. After several phone calls (I called during business hours and they were not answering their phones, nor do they have an answering machine, I thought they had closed) I finally got a receptionist. She told me for new patients it will need to be at least 2 months out for first available appointment. I said ok I will take it. Then upon reading several reviews about how busy their office is, and I do not have a lot of time to wait around since I have a full time job, I decide to cancel my appointment. I was put on hold for exactly 18 minutes before I was being helped. This is just not great customer service and if it takes this long just to talk to someone on the phone, I can imagine what an actual office visit would be like. I'm sure Dr. Yee is great but too bad their customer service turned me off.

The wait time to see this doctor is beyond acceptable. Dr. Yee is very friendly and will take the time to talk to you at your appointment but be prepared to wait an extremely long time to see her. My first appointment I waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hours followed by an additional 30 minutes in the room. I made the next appointment early in the morning at an attempt to avoid the wait but that didn't work either. After 50 minutes sitting in the waiting room I left and told them I wouldn't be back. I work full time and have two small children. My fridge is empty and house is dirty. I don't have the time to be sitting around and waiting. Wish this doctor valued my time more. I don't understand how an MD could have such horrible time management skills or how the patients in the waiting room just don't start rioting! Completely unaceptable. If I weren't so busy, I would consider sending this doctor a bill for my wasted time in her waiting room.

I really loved Dr. Yee and wanted to continue seeing her but the 2+ hour long waits were ridiculous. I appreciate that she is thorough but her staff, presumably on her direction, overbooks her. The waiting room is very small too, maybe 20 chairs, so people often wait outside. The shortest time I waited was an hour and that was when I got the first appt of the day!

For 3 years, Dr Yee has been taking care of all my family members including my husband who was very stubbon to see any doctor for the past 15 years until Dr Yee. We all love her. She takes her time and explains things which you don't see much in doctors anymore nowaday. She is very patient and thorough. Because of Dr Yee, my husband is healthier and he is really enjoying his visit to her every 3 months. But the wait can be very long and brutal. She is always busy and We know why her waiting room is always packed. There is an excellent reason for that becasue she is truely an excellent doctor. WORTH the wait....

TERRIBLE - went on vacation and doctor refused to refill my medication for my thyroid problem when I had just been in to see the doctor 2 months before. Staff was very rude and unhelpful. Asked to speak to the doctor directly and the staff told me it was not possible. I have since found a new doctor I am very happy with. Avoid this doctor unless you are looking for negligent care and 3 hour wait times minimum every visit.
