I have been going to dr nahmias for years. I am firing him as my doctor. He has no bedside manner and is extremely rude. He talks down to you. Wiukd not recommend him to my worst enemy. Find another endo.

I had a very positive visit with Dr. Nahmias. He is not the most personable doctor but I want a doctor who knows his specialty not a friend. I consider him and excellent doctor.

Dr. Nahmias is OK, but his office staff is terrible. They will not call to confirm appointments at all, and they will not phone in prescriptions for insulin needles. it's the laziest medical office I've been to in my life. I will say, that the doctor is the most punctual I've ever seen, however due to his staff, I am no longer his patient.

I could not have had a more professional or thorough evaluation by a physician. Dr. Nahmias sat me down after examining me and discussed all treatment options at length. He ordered further blood testing and called me personally with the results and further discussion. I recommend this physician wholeheartedly.

WORST BEDSIDE MANNERS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD !!! I'm my opinion this Dr should Change his practice to laboratory research ONLY !!! And avoid interaction with any living patients... I made a new patient appt and waited a month to be seen... No problem ... The staff was curtious and helpful and took all my info and let me know what to bring extra for my first visit.... I am newly diagnosed with TYPE II Diabetes and very upset with having this diagnosis in the first place so I'm looking for guidance and education and ways I can get better... With all the complications that come with this diagnosis it's a hard thing to get on all the meds they blast you with and lifestyle changes and exercise routines ... It's a bit overwhelming at first... So with only be diagnosed for 2 weeks I contacted him for an appt... His office is in a old small 2 story office space in Coral Springs behind an Amtrust bank... Not easily seen from the street but clearly marked... I arrived late... My fault ..I don't time my ride time correctly and traffic was slow... So I called and said I was on the way and should be there momentarily... The receptionist replied... Well let me see if he will even see you now... I really have never experienced someone responding that way (although I realize I'm late) So I'm pulling into the parking lot and I'm told ... Ok the Dr will see me but my appt time will be affected... Ok fair enough I think to myself after all I am late... As I enter the Old looking building the office is clean and cute... I say Hi and my name and I already feel the tension building between us... She asked for my Insurance card and ID as I am apologizing for being late... I am received with a clipboard and asked to fill out as fat as I can so the Dr can get my information and history.... I'm hurrying through so I don't waste any more time... I return the papers and I'm called in immediately..I enter the room and he enters a moment after me... Wisks by with a hello.. Obviously annoyed at my tardiness ... Proceeds to ask me questions... I interrupt him and say... Well hello ... I'm Heather... He says back... That doesn't matter and proceeds to ask about the sequence of events since my diagnosis in the most Ill tempered way... Snapping questions at me and when I respond he does not let me respond fully and he speaks over me in a condescending tone... I try and tell him my symptoms that are my concerns and he does not answer me and ignore my questions and keeps talking like I'm a fixture in the room... He never asked my about my history leading to this diagnosis... He didn't ask me how I was feeling ... He's all about the facts on paper... I told him he was making me stressed out by him not even making eye contact with me and that I was looking for a Dr who could educate me and help me hopefully get off the meds I was on... I began to cry and He gave me a face like I was crazy and write me new prescriptions and said he would see me in 5 weeks and left the room... Never asked if I had questions... His staff proceeds to tell me that he's not known for his bedside manners and they hear that a lot for all their patients.... I was asked to wait in the waiting room for a minute so I did... There was a woman sitting there waiting for her appt and I asked her how she liked the Dr ... She said she absolutely hated his manners and she was considering leaving the practice after only 2 visits.. She was giving it one more chance before she moved on....I left feeling defeated and alone...So weeks later I had my bloodwork and am returning for the follow up appt... I arrive 20 minutes early!! With all my paperwork and diary of blood levels and nutritional info I've been following... Greeted again by the pleasant staff .. Who I'm feeling are just a couple of nice ladies working for this insensitive Dr... I had her all my stuff and she asks how I'm doing ... I now see the Dr behind her... I say ah not so good.. I look at the Dr and he is rolling his eyes at my response and has a "tisk"... I couldn't believe that what I saw... I asked if my bloodwork had been received and she states not all of it at which time the Dr shakes his head while smirking and more risks are heard .. Walking away with the biggest attitude like I was an idiot!!! He made me feel so belittled !!! This little old man is horrible! He treats his patients with no respect or compassion... His staff politely covers for him and his rudeness ... I don't care what his issue is he should retire immediately ...TERRIBLE !!!

I'm glad I found this doctor. Do not believe all the negative reviews, he is a lifesaver. He is all business, not very congenial, but I'm here to get well, not have a party.

I agree with most ratings below. This man has zero people skills and is condescending and lacks any compassion. I would never recommend this dr and will never return to this office. Wish I had the foresight to read reviews prior to subjecting myself to this Dr.

If you can go to a different doctor--GO TO THEM! The 1st experience was my appt. was scheduled, I showed up & was told Oh No, that's next month. Then they wanted all my records faxed so they could be reviewed before my appointment, so I did. Well Dr Nahmias doesn't bother to review the records, and doesn't even look at you while you're in the office. One of the prescriptions has a side effect & I was told go to your primary or your gynecologist. NEVER AGAIN. Just remember Folks--Not everyone graduates at the top of their class. GO ELSEWHERE--you've been warned. Sign me, DISGUSTED

Rudest most unhelpful doctor I have ever been to. Does not listen to to you and tells you to be quiet, he is writing his notes. Will cut you off medication (Even insulin) I think he is VERY DANGEROUS!!!! Someone could wind up in the hospital or dead with him as you doctor. You cannot call him after hours. His service will always say "go to the ER" He is a very uncaring doctor!
