The staff is helpfull and courteous. There is a short wait time. Never over 20 minutes, as opposed to other drs that you can be there for hours. And Dr Chau is very experiened and very knowledgeable in many different kinds of conditions and illnesses. He is also very nice and has a very good befside manner.

The wait time to see the doctor is not bad compared to others I stopped seeing. The staff is very nice. The doctor is very thorough. I like Dr. Chau and Marlene they both work hard to care for a lot of people and manage it very well. My entire family is using Dr. Chau now.

I have never waited more than 20 minutes beyond my appointment to see the doc. I have seen other non-Vietnamese doctors where I walked out after sitting in the office 1 and a half hours beyond my appointment. Many doctors and their staff feel this is completely acceptable and you and your employers should deal with it. This is not acceptable and I have never seen this behavior from Dr. Chau. Doctors specialize in so much these days if they are not the experts in an area they provide referrals to get you the best possible care. Thanks Doctor Chau.

BTW - my 84 yr old mother referred me to this doctor because he is very good at his job and treats his patients with dignity.

This is a case of a decent doctor being wewighed down ,by INCOMPETENT staffing.

If you are not of Vietnamese descent, you are treated like garbage, by the staff, at this office.

Doctor Chau only hires Vietnamese staff. Thus, the occurance of catering to the non-Vietnamese client becomes a NON-priority...

It is so very bad, that they will not even acknowledge prescription refill requests from the pharmacy.,

AVOID THIS DOCTOR!

1st appointment brought CD on spinal fusion he said he doesn't look at CD's. Told him about stomach problems[hiatel hernia]sent for chest x-ray blood work CT scan. Chau said nothing found on CT scan, but if lump still bothers me they can cut it out? Will not prescribe necessary medications for a month supply which I have been on for years. Walmart Pharmacist say he is ridiculous.Always wants to see me in 2 weeks for billing. I have been under Specialist care for my back, knees and legs for years. Chau does not read charts or medical records from other doctors just asks what else I need. Complains about his own medical pains. Wife seen him once with me in the office. Brought medical records of her stage 3 Cervical Cancer involving Hysterectomy, Chemo & Radiation. Still asked wife when last menstural cycle was or if she could be pregnant. Needed recommendation for a Gynocologist/Oncologist. Said not at this time. Wrote prescript for medication thats not avail. Contacting Medicare next

Today was to be my second visit, I wanted the results from a CT Scan and X-Rays. They did not have my chart nor any of the test results from weeks before and after setting in the exam room and being ignored for 45 minutes I left. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a physician. I would not recommend Dr. Chau to anyone, and I will never use him as a physician again.

I got admitted to the hospital. He was the one that came to see me. I needed additional pain medicine not ordered and from the time I asked the nurse to call ..to the time I had the extra medicine was less then 10 min! The nurse said Dr Chau is always great with answering his phone and giving orders when needed. My first meeting with him was in the hospital. I had seen the PA in the office and I did not have any problems.

Everytime I went I would see the PA, and then after she gave me all these referals to see specialists (more money) because she couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. The last time I went back for them to just sign a doctors note for a previous visit and I guess she didn't want to be bother with me so she sent Dr. Chau who was very short and rude with me. I guess I was too much trouble for them, but I thought that's what doctors are for, to hear your complaints and attempt to make you better, not to make you feel as if you've inconvenienced them. The sad part is I paid a co-pay and my insurance paid the rest. So I feel as if I paid for them to treat me bad...
