I can't say enough positive things about Dr. T and his staff.
I had a fall 28 months ago in which I had fractured my shoulder, foot and little did I know part of my spine as well. He was able to locate these areas in my back and did a procedure on each side of my spine to deaden the nerves. For the first time in all these months he has given me relief and I couldn't be more grateful. I'm back in physical therapy now and getting stronger every day.

I have had spinal epidurals from 4 Doctors at Jaffe Sports Medicine since 2015. I was diagnosed with Severe Spinal Stenosis in 2013. I wasn't able to get an appointment with Dr Tandatnick for almost 2 weeks after going to NCH ER even though website says same day appointments. I was asked to come in 30 minutes before appt to update paperwork. It took me 40 minutes to fill out forms when all the information was in their computer system. Dr Tandatnicks receptionist and assistant were wonderful. When Dr Tandatnick came in the room he hadn't looked at my previous records. My pain level was an 8 1/2 and I really wanted to get an epidural asap. He asked me if I ever had back surgery 3 different times, and each time I said yes. I have been on Gabapentin for months and it hasn't helped my pain at all. He was insistant that my Gabapentin dosage be increased. I told him that Gabapentin made me sleepy and didn't help with my pain. I was prescribed Gabapentin by a previous Dr at Dr Jaffes and it didnt help at all than either. Since my insurance requires a pre authorization for epidurals Dr Tandatnick said I would have to do a months worth of physical therapy. I told him it's had never worked before and the epidural was all that had helped my pain. I told him 3 times I didn't want to increase my Gabapentin dose since it didn't work and made me sleepy. He either didn't listen to me, or didn't care what I had to say. He said my treatment plan was physical therapy, MRI , home exercises, increase Gabapentin, nerve study, and finally an Epidural. He really didn't care I was in terrible pain, but more interested in how much money he could make with my treatment plan. The previous Doctors that I have seen and gotten epidurals from were warm, caring and compassionate. Dr Tandatnick has none of those qualities. I will not be returning to Jaffes Sports Medicine after being a patient for over 6 years because of Dr Tandatnicks attitude.

I have had a very positive experience with Dr. Tandatnick. When I came to his office, I was in a lot of pain and had difficulty walking. He gave me an injection, and within a couple days I felt like a new woman, able to walk for extended periods of time. Both the office staff and the doctor are very caring and attentive, listening to my concerns. I fondly refer to the doctor as “Dr. Painless”!

Dr. Tandatnick has made my life anew! I have 5 bulging discs and the pain is dreadful, but after Dr. Tandatnick's treatment, I am up and at it again! He is so kind, thoughtful and when he is with you, you have his full attention! Love his staff too. Oh, if he only could be cloned for other specialities!

I have been suffering with constant ache and pain in my butt and back of my legs. I have been unable to keep my walking excerise on a daily bases which is bad for a 76 year old male. I was able to finally get in to see the Dr and was pleased with the amount of time he spent with me and the amount of questions he asked. Sometimes he asked the same question twice later on in the interview (maybe to see if I gave the same answer). It was decided that I needed pain treatment in my lower back and was scheduled in a few days, the process was conducted in a sterile envorment and process was painless. I am now back to walking with no to very little pain. If you have pain that comes from a problem with your spine go see Dr. Tandatnick !

Prior to meeting Dr. Tandatnick my back and hip pain would not allow me to sleep laying down. Now my pain is kept under control and I sleep all night. Dr. Tandatnick and staff are excellent.
