Not worth the wait. I had a 1:30 appointment and showed up 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork (you can’t print pages ahead of schedule, because there are no online forms) I should never have shown up early. The doctor didn’t. I sat for over TWO hours before I got called back and that was with a staff member. They did all these tests on me that I thought the doctor would do. Do they have med degrees of any kind? Then I sat another 20 minutes before he came in. Bet nobody gets to waste his time. He didn’t listen to a word my GP had me relay about shadows in my vision. He wouldn’t listen to me at all. Rude. Unapologetic of the waste of MY time. Pompous. Wouldn’t listen to any of my GP’s thoughts or even my own concerns. He pretty much whisked me out of his examining room. I have to say I was not impressed by the office person I talked to about the long wait. I did NOT get loud and the person acted like I could just take myself out of the office, if I didn’t like it. Never again. My GP thought Dr. Hanzlik was a doctor with an excellent credentials and I’d be taken care of with care and respect. My GP apologized up one side and down the other. He didn’t need to. It wasn’t his fault. He set me up with another ophthalmologist and even called the office to explain my issues. I had an excellent experience with the next doctor. Took care of all my problems and settled my worries. Don’t bother with this doctor.

Too long a wait. Almost 2 hours. My husband & I actually left to get lunch & came back. Some of the same people were still there waiting for him when we got back. We sat longer with the staff. At least, the girl was nice. The doctor not so much. He barely listened to my problem, before he was showing us out the door. My husband called him “dismissive.” I may be old, but I’m not a fool. I’m going to go to a different eye doctor now.

Not worth the wait for a doctor who triple books his appointments. Unprofessional and unacceptable. 60+ minute wait. Spent more time with staff. Nice staff but shouldn’t be doing doctor’s tests. Better ophthalmologists out there.

Very helpful, it is worth the wait !
Explain very well and make sure you understand.
Knows what is talking about, take is time with each patient to make sure he covers everything.
I recommend him anytime, lots of knowledge.

This place has horrible scheduling issues. If you want to stop your day and wait for an appointment for over an hour, this is your guy!
