Dr. Son Hing did amazing work on my infant son who was born with a partial cleft lip and palate. Dr. Son Hing explained that the initial lip surgery, that appeared 'lopsided' would look "correct" when he was 18 years old. Now in his 30's his appearance is normal and the cleft scars basically unnoticeable.

I had my double eyelid surgery in 2008 with this Dr., I should have known better when his receptionist told me that he did her eyelids, they weren’t great. I was in my early 20’s and very naive at the time going into this without doing a tone of research. There just weren’t as many resources and options on the internet like we have nowadays.

I have been very unhappy with my result and my decision to have this surgery with Dr. Son Hing. My eyelids are big and very unnatural, I have two scars on each side of the corner of my eyes. Nothing I can do now and I am sure he’s ruined many eyes in his time.

I had Asian double eyelid surgery 15 years ago. I was still in my late teens. He excised too much skin from my left eyelid leaving me unable to close my eyelid completely without exerting force. I would never have picked him to do my procedure. I've been dealing with the consequences of impartial eyelid closure all these years, but am finally starting to look into reconstructive surgery to repair the damage done. This is why it's important to DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE LETTING ANYONE COME AT YOU WITH A KNIFE.

I know Dr. Son-Hing is now retired, but I have to say that after having eyelid surgery and a facelift with him - he was amazing. He answered all of my questions, no pressure, and best of all an amazing result. 10 years later and my face is still far younger than my years. A wonderful man, didn't hesitate to have me in for several consultations before both surgeries. Never dismissed my concerns . I looked the same only better ! Thank you. I don't know who I would ever go to now if I ever needed some work again .

I had several facial moles removed by Dr. Son Hing back in 2006. He did a very good job. Back then and now there are no visible scars. Thank you.

AVOID!!
!I went in for a consult on reconstructive rhinoplasty specifically a severely deviated septum related to unilateral cleft palate and lip.
What.an. IDIOT.
Clearly he hasn't looked at my file or reviewed my very extensive reconstructive history. He told be that to fix my septum IT WOULD HAVE TO BE REBROKEN.
Oh, hey moron; it WAS BEVER BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
GO ELSEWHERE IF YIU LIVE YOURSELF. Or even hate yourself!

I'm very pleased with my double eyelids - absolutely stunning work! Despite extremely difficult conditions that involved ethical decision making, Dr. Son-Hing was conscientious and able to establish the foundation for happiness to a patient suffering from severe depression and lack of companionship for aesthetic conversation.

I did not think the surgery reflected my education. The interviewer merely asked what were my current accomplishments but did not delve into the past. Also, much of the surgery was unplanned though I gave specific instructions. The result was disappointing and psychologically damaging.

I had a double eyelid surgery done in October 2008. The eyelids are too prominent, thus changing my ethnicity from Chinese to some other. This can be quite embarrassing among certain social groups. I am quite upset about this. The surgery was not worth $5000!

Dr. Son Hing removed a bunch of my moles on my face and fixed a scar. His price ended up being quite reasonable and shortly thereafter I couldn't see any trace of the scars at all. My sister in law had a breast reduction and it went very well. Have heard lots of other good references for this doctor.
