While I have no doubt Dr. McKnight is experienced, she is also very smug. I felt as though I was wasting her time or as if I was too far beneath her to be in her presence. I prefer more down to earth docs that have compassion.

Dr. McKnight has been my rheumatologist for several years. She is always very compassionate, kind and I am so glad she is my doctor. Her staff is by far the best medical staff I have seen in a long time! Just love all of them!!

I saw Dr McKnight for several years. I have several arthritic conditions and deteriorating joints. Most of the time I got a steroid shot in the buttox lol and that kept me feeling pretty good for three months. She was always very friendly , polite and pleasant with me. Very easy to discuss things with. BUT.....She tossed me to the side because I am now on Medicare. YUP! Said she no longer sees Medicare patience. Not sure if Medicare had a problem with her or if she had a problem with them but either way I have been without a Ruma dr for about 8 years now and it hasn't been a picnic. I'm now in a power chair to control my pain since it takes an act of congress now to get anything for pain beside steroid injections everywhere. My husband was given too many steroid injections by Dr Benson over a short period of time and you would not believe the serious issues he had for well over a year and a half. This is one reason why I don't care to get steroids any longer.

This" doctor "was very short with me and abruptly walked out of the room while I was asking her questions regarding my condition.

Dr. McKnight did not help me. I have RA and none of the meds were working. The last visit I had LOTS of questions. Before I was finished asking them she got up and walked to the door like my time was up. I was very frustrated. I changed Docs.

I''ve been her patient for 6 years. When I went to see her the first time, she was obviously very knowledgable and was able to diagnosis a difficult chronic illnes I have others physicians I went to could not. She is direct and honest with you but kind and compassionate and she will take the time to answer all your questions. Without a doubt, the best doctor I''ve had. I''m very fortunate to have her for my doctor.

I saw Dr McKnight as a new pt a few days ago.....She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough in her exam. She answered endless questions with patience and caring. She is direct and to the point and doesn't waste time.
