Dr. Ighani, her medical assistant, and Jill were great! Her MA followed up with me promptly regarding my labs.

However, the front desk could afford to make some eye contact.

Over all good experience, Dr. Ighani and back office staff are worth the drive!

I'm 61 and have had abnormal endometrium thickening. Dr. Ighani did a biopsy, d and c,and follow up. Thick again, we just did an office biopsy. 100 times LESS painful/uncomfortable than 20+ years ago with another doc. We're pretty sure it's not malignant, but she takes extra precautions.
I do not understand how people could say she is ride. She's friendly, affable, and knows her business! From the moment I met her I felt confidence in her. She is very direct medically but in no way unfriendly. I like when doctors are direct and honest. The staff is great and so far my appointments have all been on time. Remember, folks...in her line of work, things come up. And having been a hairdresser for many years, I can tell you, if one client is late, you'll be behind schedule all day. This is not the doctor's fault. So I would totally recommend Dr. Ighani. She is a nice person and a great doctor.

She is awesome ! She has always made time for me and my questions. When I needed surgery she came and seen me before and after. She always has a smile and always makes me feel comfortable.

Am pregnant for the first time. She didn't believe me so blood test was done and numbers were low. I kept having symptoms and body was changing I knew I was pregnant! She was extremely rude and kept telling me that I probably lost the baby cause blood tests don't lie! So after having to waste hundreds of dollars on unnecessary blood tests turns out I AM PREGNANT! Had positive urine test in office she still didn't believe it so I made her do an ultra sound and lookie there A BABY! She all of a sudden wanted to be all nice and say "well I'll be damned this has never happened before". She was unwilling to listen to me. I have been in tons of pain beyond normal cramps... I can't even function properly. She says well it's normal just wait it out and come back in 2 weeks. That's her thing "come back in 2weeks" as if that's necessary. She also did there's no way I was pregwhen I first came in and that it was within last 4 weeks...that's why we saw a 9 week old baby right? She's ridiculous!

Back in 2001 Dr. Ighani delivered my 1st baby boy in New York, she was AWESOME!!! In 2003 she and Dr. Johanes Jones performed a C-Section on me for my 2nd baby boy, (who by the way took it upon himself to pee Dr. Ighani in the face) told to me by Dr. Ighani herself. Dr. Ighani is a GREAT Obstretician I would highly recommend her to anyone. On my visits she was so patient witj me and she explained so much information on high risk pregnancy. I was high risk for both my boys. Dr. Ighani where ever you are NY babies & Mommy send their LOVE!!! You are GREAT !!!!

I would not recommend this dr to anyone.Not only is she rude, she doesn't make you feel very comfortable during appointments. I had a miscarriage and was to have a d & c scheduled and no one contacted me back with appointment info. On the actual day of the d & c she was late, and when she did actually show up, she was rude and didn't talk to me long. After I awoke from the procedure she had already left. I just don't think she has much compassion. Her receptionists are very rude as well.

Follow-up is horrible! She did not call me for 10 days after my breast biopsy only to tell me I needed to see a surgeon. I never get my pap results unless I call. After my pelvic ultrasound was done I was told everything was OK only to find the next day that I had an ovarian cyst. When I called 5 weeks later to reschedule another ultrasound, no one called me back. After a week I called back into the office only to discover Dr. was unaware I was waiting. In addition, I am overcharged my co-pay every time!
