Our stated goal was to keep our elderly mother with advanced alzheimer's who lived in a nursing home comfortable. She complained of constant pain in her belly. He ordered tylenol which did nothing. He complained about a 2nd family member calling to discuss the problem. He only wanted to talk with 1 family member. His whole practice is nursing home patients, but he complained to her daughter that she wouldn't let him examine her, but he didn't give her anti-anxiety meds before the examination. He should have known to do that. He never found the source of the pain or controlled it in the 6 months she was in his care. She died after projectile vomiting of blood which sugggested a perforated ulcer. He never suggested or looked for an ulcer. My personal opinion is that he is incompetent and uncaring.
