I have asked numerous times to have tubal ligation and have been turned down way too many times. I am the oldest child of 4 and have never wanted children. I feel that this should be my decision not the doctors. I'm looking for a gyno that will listen and respect my decisions.
Not every woman wants to have children.

I have to admit I was very nervous to have my first appointment with Dr Beatty especially after reading the reviews here! But everything changed when I met him. He’s so nice and really made me feel comfortable. I’ve never been to a gyno before and was super scared especially since my appointment would be to get an IUD! I told him I was nervous and he assured me it would be alright and tried to keep it light hearted by telling stories and walking me through the whole process. I can understand why it would be hard for women to have a man as their gyno but I couldn’t have asked for a better visit!

Had him for 3 pregnancies he is amazing! Never had to wait. He is dry, so if your looking to be coddled as a patient this is not the dr for you!

Dr Beatty truly almost killed me. Tried to get me to push out my 11 pound baby, then done a c-section and cut an artery and left me to bleed out. 1 hour later they finally realized what was happened and called a code blue on me and rushed me back in to surgery. 1 week later made it out of ICU/CCU, that man had me minutes from death.

I had been suffering for months with pain when I finally seen Dr.Beatty . He completely ignored any concerns I had, and told me that fibroids and burst ovarian cysts on my ultrasound were nothing to worry about. My first appointment went terribly, I ended up leaving feeling as though he had taken advantage of me for being alone and young. He did a physical exam on me which left me in tears and told me to “go home and have sex and call me to tell me how it feels and I’ll see you next week.” I was devastated considering I had been in pain for months that was the last thing on my mind and especially after a painful exam!! Next week, I brought my mom with me as support and once again he completely belittled me and had 0 concerns about my pain and told me he couldn’t help me. As mentioned in another comment he spent my entire second appointment staring at my moms chest and making her feel extremely uncomfortable to. Fast forward 6 months and I am still in extreme pain, I have finally found a gynaecologist that listened and she has found endometriosis, a bicrnuate uterus , adenmyosis, multiple cysts and fibroids contributing to my pain. I am now being forced into menopause at the age of 26 until I can have surgery. I wish I was listened to the first time around and maybe this whole journey could have been sped up.

Dr Beatty would only stare at my chest at every appointment with him. I felt so uncomfortable that I would only go in to see him with my friend with me (and she noticed it too). He shrugged off my pain from fibroids and told me it was just IBS. He did not listen to anything I said to him. His receptionist is very nice and friendly.

Being pregnant with my first child he made every doctor visit almost dreadful and caused me so much anxiety. I was afraid to ask him any questions because he would just shrug it off with a smart remark and just leave the room. Never eased my mind with any of the worries or concerns I had. Asked him at almost 37 weeks why I haven't gotten any kind of ultrosound or estamation or how big my baby is and he basically made me feel like I was an idiot and told me that ultrosounds are deemed bad for the baby and they are the worst way to estimate the baby's size and completely left the room. I was in shock. After almost every appointment I had with him I wanted to cry. Was always a little early for appointments and always had to wait an extra 30 mins sometimes longer after my scheduled time to get seen but more importantly just a completely mean and Incompassionate doctor. Still In shock. Highly do no recommend .

After being referred by my family doctor, the only treatment I received from Dr. Beatty was the insertion of an IUD. However, I was extremely nervous as I’ve read very negative reviews about the pain during insertion, and the discomfort post insertion. And on top of that, I had read all the negative reviews about Dr. Beatty.
Side note: I am in my early 20s and initially was hesitant about a male doctor.
I am proud to say I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Beatty answered all my questions, was very comforting during the procedure (he talked me through every step), and gave me full, detailed instructions for aftercare. I am very happy I decided not to find another doctor, because Dr. Beatty was great.
