Dr. J has saved my life more than once. Sadly he will be retiring soon and it scares me. He has gone above and beyond his duties on many occasions for me and I truly appreciate him as a doctor and a person.

Even though my parents had been going to Dr. Johnson for years the last 5 years have been super frustrating and disappointing. Both of my parents have been struggling with their memories for up to 5 years. After continually discussing concerns with him he refused to diagnose them or refer them to a geriatric specialist. I ended up changing physicians for my mother and she was diagnosed right away. My father however had still not been diagnosed when we moved them into assisted living and it turns out his dementia is quite severe. I believe that if he had done his job my parents and my families stress level would be much lower as they would have had access to treatment and planning before the disease became so advanced. My parents denied that anything was wrong except normal memory loss because that is what they were informed by Dr. Johnson. If he is unable or unwilling to work with patients who are suffering from memory loss such as Alzheimer's or Dementia he should refer them. There are medications that will help slow the progression of the disease but by the time my mother was prescribed this by her new physician she didn't know how to take medications properly anymore and my dad couldn't understand enough to help her.

I have been going to Dr. Johnson since I was a young child and now am a 33 year old woman. I have lived all over Canada, as well 5 years in the Cayman Islands. Regardless of where I have lived I contine to use him as my family doctor whenever in town visiting family. He is thorough, kind, respectful and is always willing to take a moment to ask how my other family members are doing. He is wonderful!

I am 32 years of age and have been going to Dr. Johnson since I was a young teenager. I have lived all over and still consider him to be my doctor. He truly cares for his patients and takes the time to meet the needs of all in his care. Highly recommend, especially for children.

I wish all doctors were like Dr. Johnson. I could not say enough good things about this man. He is highly respected and definitely deserves it. He respects patients, is extremely kind and compassionate, never rude nor condescending to patients or even to staff. Furthermore, he is very knowledgeable in his practice and takes the time to listen to his patients. What a wonderful, intelligent Doctor. Everyone should learn from him.

Wonderful doctor. My dad's doctor and he had been trying to get me in to see Johnson. Was able to get in twice to see him, but not since. When I called back after the visits the staff said I wasn't on the patient list. I don't understand. Perhaps the staff is taking me off the list after my visits? Would love to have Johnson as my doctor, but I can't seem to get onto his list. But I would recommend him to anyone. Very good doctor and good man. Wonderful sense of humour.

Met Dr. Johnson when my son was born. Great sense of humor, answered all my baby questions and did a very good job with circumsision. Definitly recommend him!
