Dr. Solomon is knowledgeable, but rude and inconsiderate. Anytime you ask questions, she acts impatient like you are wasting her time. I went in for my annual exam and was told if I wanted to ask questions I need to schedule a follow-up - what the heck is that? At your annual exam you should be able to ask all the questions you want. But because the doesn't' get reimbursed very well for annuals, she makes you come in again. I went in on another occasion for treatment of a UTI that wouldn't go away, and she was very insensitive. I was in serious pain and couldn't even schedule an appointment for 3 days (an untreated UTI can very quickly turn into a serious kidney infection). When I talked to the appointment setter, she was clueless and told me she could get me in in a couple of weeks. I kept pleading with her because I was in so much pain, and she finally agreed to get me in that week. You shouldn't have to beg to get an appointment. When I had my appointment, I first met with someone who took my vitals, then she sent me into the exam room. When Dr. Solomon came in and started asking what was wrong, I told her I suspected UTI and she asked if I had provided a urine sample. I told her "no, no one asked." She told me I should have done it before I cam into the exam room! How could I have known that if her staff didn't tell me? Then she had the nerve to say, "well you told her it was vaginal, so that's why she didn't know to get the urine sample." Which is a LIE - I told the person who took my vitals it was a UTI, she was just too dumb to ask for the urine sample. Dr. Solomon implied it was my fault for her staff's mess up. Again, she's a knowledgeable doc but her staff is clueless, I know more about my medical conditions than they do. As the other reviewer mentioned, she is also very rough on exams, and doesn't seem to care about her patients. She doesn't listen very well to questions, and starts answering before you are even finished. How can she know what I'm asking if she doesn't listen? Also, she makes you go online to check your results, and if you want to discuss them, guess what, you have to schedule another appointment. She's very clinical, has terrible bedside manner, and I will not be returning. I got better care from the Nurse Practioner inside my local Fry's grocery store.
