My worst experience ever!! Esthetician appointed to me for consultation did not want to explain procedures, she actually was annoyed at my questions. And her main concern was telling me the cost at $1,000 for a dark spot removal. I will never go back or refer them to anyone.

Dr. Taraska is the best Dermatologist in Winnipeg. She listens to all your needs, doesn't rush you out like most Doctors do and she is always on time!

I have been seeing Dr. Vicki Taraska for medical follow ups to keep an eye on skin conditions as i’d had a small basal cell carcinoma on my face 12 years ago. . I decided today to rate your doctor as I was telling someone else how positive my experiences always been with Dr. Taraska and her professional team at the clinic. I’ve never waited long in her office for my appointments, and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. Dr. Taraska always spends a little extra time, reassuring me, and explaining the differences between some of the things that develop on my face or body through the normal ageing process.

I recently started doing some cosmetic procedures, as I would like to keep my skin and appearance as healthy as possible into my 50s. Prevention and attention to our skin is important. Dr. Taraska’s advice and reassurance that some treatments i don’t yet need to pursue is respected. . She does not strongly promote or push clinic’s products or services unless i’ve inquired. i recently underwent Ultherapy to boost my natural protein/collagen. It’s remarkable already a month later the difference in my skin’s elasticity and appearance. i’m very appreciative for Dr. Taraska’s caring approach to my medical and cosmetic procedures.. Wow. Taraska was such a delight. I was very disappointed when finding out she wasn't accepting new patients to get info on my laser injury that occured elsewhere. So when I went ahead for laser consultation... she came to see me anyways! I was not expecting that at all. So in the end I got exactly what I wanted to discuss! Such a genuine, beautiful soul. She wanted to be as helpful as she could to my injury. She didn't shoo me out the room like *cough* another laser dermatologist who didn't want to deal with someone else's mistake.

I'm disappointed to be writing this. I first saw Dr Taraska years ago when she operated out of a medical clinic and her care and skill was top notch. Years later, I went back for another derm concern and she lacked the warmth that I'd experienced before. The follow-up appt after treatment was incredibly fast, and she exited the room in less than 5 min. It almost felt like she had somewhere else she wanted to be.
I recently called again about having a growth removed from my face and was told that she's no longer taking this type of appointment, and that I should call a plastic surgeon. This isn't the same Dr. Taraska I saw several years ago, and that's too bad - that one was great.

I wanted to officially rate Dr. Vicki Taraska though i tell all my friends how much i respect her professionally and find her approachable. Dr. Taraska has seen some members of our family and treats us all with respect and addresses questions with interest and kindness. I never feel rushed nor do i wait long to be seen. Recently i saw her for cosmetic work and woke looking so rested 😉. I wanted to publicly thank Dr. Vicki Taraska for again making recommendations on botox and filler that keep me looking natural and refreshed. i get compliments often on not looking my age (50 this month) and promptly refer friends to the Derm Center. Decided today to post it for others as i have respected how she never “upsells” me but rather suggest i only need the baby botox treatments. Holly Glew

Referred to Dr Taraska for melasma. Had many treatments with other dermatologists that cost thousands of dollars and did not work. Saw Dr Taraska she prescribed a lightening cream mixture ($100) used for a few months and had major results and improvements. I have had melasma for 25 years and I am very happy with the outcome and when/if it comes back, it’s a minimal cost to start up again. Thanks to Dr Taraska!!!
