I was told that Dr. Hendin was an expert neurologist and went to him several years ago for a period of about a year. I had conflicting Dx regarding neurological problems, possibly MS. After multiple tests and a year of my life I had my last appt with Dr. Hendin. During this 30 minute appt in his pretentious office he spent 25 minutes of it talking with another Dr. about another patient going into medical details (Hippa violation). In the last 5 minutes he lowered his voice, leaned over the desk and spoke to me as if I were a child suggesting that I need to see a psychiatrist. Very interesting, if it's not MS it must be a mental issue, what a clever fella this Dr. is. Well, I have been diagnosed properly, by Mayo Clinic and I have FND. All my symptoms were textbook FND and should have been clearly evident. Yeah, I think this doctor thinks much to highly of himself and needs a reminder of his hypocratic oath "do no harm".

I saw Dr Henson at Banner in Phoenix. Dr Henson left me waiting for 40 minutes past my appointment time, while I could overhear him outside the exam room door talking about vacation spots with staff. He did not let me show him medical files from previous neurology assessments which showed peripheral neuropathy and white spots on mri. But, somehow Dr Hendin decidided I did not have a neurological issue. He then did not follow through with an alternative diagnosis or referral that he said he would do. Basically a waste of my time and money. His assistant also did not follow through and clearly avoided calling me back after leaving multiple messages with Banner. I would never recommend that anyone see this “doctor”. I consider the lack of proper follow through to be malpractice.

Very good, knowledgeable. It is AHCCCS insurance that limits what treatment patient can have, when, where, etc..

Worst dr. ever. Didn't listen, didn't help and tried to treat my initial MS with Tysabri even though I had positive test for JC virus and it's not the first suggested treatment protocol. Office staff didn't do anything he ordered and I had to call every day for 6 six days to get referral and meds.
