I have seen Dr. Solomon for about 6 years. She is an incredible, compassionate physician. However, she works only part time and every time I have an acute illness, I am unable to get in with her, sometimes not even in the same week. I have had to end up going to Urgent Care. Today, I called the office to see if I could get in as I am still sick with an upper respiratory infection that has lasted two weeks. I ended up seeing the NP, Theresa Hill. What a complete joke. I had told her that I had already finished a Z-pak over a week ago and had new onset fever, chills, achy joints, and sore throat as of yesterday. I was concerned it was the flu (which I know cannot be treated by antibiotics) and I really just needed a note to be off work today and possibly tomorrow. Theresa told me it was strep and that the Z-pak would not have covered strep? Really? I'm a pharmacist, and I'm pretty sure it does! She gave me amoxicillin, which I won't even take because it's worthless at this point. Dismissed my concern about a hacking productive cough which keeps me up at night (I had a pulse ox of 92% in the office) and dismissed the achy joints and still said it was strep,

I love Dr. Solomon when I get to see her, but it's become near impossible to do so. Also, because she works with medical students so much, she is often running 20-30 minutes behind or more for appointments when I do see her--unless I can get the very first one of the day.

Finally, the medical assistant is useless. I have had to call multiple times for my lab results and have asked that they send me a copy for me to show my endocrinologist. After making multiple phone calls and leaving messages, I still never get the copy. And the M.A. is very unfriendly in person. This is probably the 4th or 5th M.A. that Dr. Solomon has had in my six years with her.

Unfortunately, today was the nail the coffin and I will be leaving the practice.

I have had a very good experience with Dr. Solomon over the past couple of years. She is caring and listens to my concerns, and she is willing to sit down and discuss my conditions. I am very comfortable with her. She sometimes has medical students with her, that's ok with me. She usually is on time, or I wait maybe 15 minutes. The staff has been nice too.

Very nice doctor but very quick to refer. On this appointment there was a student who asked most of the questions. Both were nice but the whole situation seemed awkward. Minimal exam that didn't even include looking at the problem areas. Just gave me the referals to a specialist. Would not go back.

Dr. Solomon rocks, she is the best, but her staff is not very friendly at all and it takes way too long to get test results. Understaffed or not organized?
