I have had issues ongoing for 10+ years and got to the point where I thought I was going crazy. Dr. Matossian assured me I wasn’t in fact crazy and that my medical issues were the cause of something more. He has been incredibly thorough, even when one thing lead to a dead end he continued different testing. I’m still in the middle of a diagnosis, but I am hopeful for the first time that I will find out what is going on with me. He is a doctor that will fight for you, listen to your concerns and act. I wish more dr’s were as caring about their patients as he is.

Over my 75 years, I have seen many doctors. Dr. Matossian is probably one of the best I have ever had. He will take time to sit down and listen to what I say. He gives me an answer right then and there.
The only problem I have is with his front office staff-person. That lady at the front desk should not be there. She lacks compassion and empathy. Her reception is uncaring, very curt and sarcastic.

Altogether my visit with Dr. Matossian was a very positive experience. My impresssion was that he is thorough and knowledgeable. He was not rushed and took the trouble to explain my medical problems in clear, layman's terms. I would certainly recommend him.

Do not see this Doctor if you are a first time patient. Not worth the trouble. He is too busy with his existing long term patients and you will wait forever for him to do anything for you. Very disappointed. A waste of my time.

Dr Matossian has been good to my father who was referred to him by our GP. He listens to my dad and is understanding. Very kind to my dad.
Now, his receptionist, Michelle, is something else. I heard her talking down to my father as my dad was struggling to explain why he could not come in person due to rain. My dad brings along my mother to in person appointments as he gets confused with commuting to Dr's office.
Michelle kept cutting my dad off. Was very condescending saying that he has excuses for the weather conditions. When I took over, she at first was "pleasant" and then started cutting me off and even said that a member of the family should accompany my father. I told her that my parents can independently go to the office and just find it difficult when it is raining or snow since they take public transportation. My parents value their independence and are very considerate to their children who work and do not live with them. So they do not even tell us their appointments until a day or two days before. They do not ask for our help unless they really need it.
Michelle made my dad feel like he was such an inconvenience to her and that he was asking her to move mountains. When in reality, my dad can still choose not to go in person for his safety and health.
And I personally heard how she talked down to a Senior ESL individual! And you work in healthcare?? Should you not be more compassionate and understanding? I'm so surprised how speak to your patients.

Was referred to by my doctor for a heart stress test. Have the highest praise for Dr Matossian. He was thorough, patient and warm. Explained the procedure in advance and was meticulously watching the results as they unfolded. Offered great advice and was very caring. A credit to his profession. I am so grateful to my doctor for referring me to Dr Matossian.

My concerns were not taken seriously by my GP and it turns out her referral letter to Dr. Matossian reflected her opinion. Fortunately, Dr. Matossian asked his own questions and examined me fairly. It turns out I was seriously ill and I went immediately to the closest hospital with a letter from Dr. Matossian. Hopefully, I will be able to make a full recovery thanks to Dr. Matossian and his genuine concern.
