My experience with Dr. Dixon was not good. She did not listen to me was uninformed about my issue (menopause) and when I asked for treatment, told me it wasnt possible. She then referred me to another doctor with a massive wait list. When that doctor finally contacted me, she has referred me for the wrong issue.
I had to do my own research and find a doctor that would help me, where I ultimately got the treatment she said I couldn't have.

If it wasn’t for my own advocacy I’d be dead. She does not like to listen to her patients and how they feel or what they think. She believes she knows all, trust me get a second opinion if you see her!!

My 3 young children and I have been seeing Dr Dixon for 4 years now. I truly feel she’s been an advocate for me and makes herself available for our health needs. She takes my concerns seriously and has never once questioned my pain. She is excellent with all 3 of my children. Was very fast to refer my daughter to a dermatologist due to a rash. She was honest and said she suspected what it was but it was not her expertise and wanted to ensure it was diagnosed correctly. When I had problems with shooting pain and numbness on my right side she had me referred off immediately to be diagnosed. She takes her patient’s care very seriously. I trust her implicitly and would recommend her. Keep in mind she is opinionated but she hears you too. Be grateful for a doctor like this, I have had doctors who ignore my pain/condition or just prescribe to get me out of the clinic.

While sporting a spray tan for what I can only assume was her tropical vacation she informed me she thought it was better for a mental health crisis to occur then for one person to get sick. Meaning she didn’t agree with single people getting spend Christmas with their families. She also gave me the wrong information regarding why we wear a mask and failed to send a referral we discussed. The office appears to be shutdown without informing any clients. If they’re not closed they’re doing a very good job of hiding since their phone number doesn’t even work and they don’t appear in google search. Is this standard operating procedure.

Dr. Dixon was unprofessional and unhelp in regards to my health care needs. She chastised me when I told her that I had been seeing a physiotherapist and chiropractor for ongoing chronic pain issues and said neither were "real doctors". When I asked about the potential for fibromyalgia as it runs in my family she told me "fibromyalgia isn't real" When I told her I wanted some blood testing done by request of my naturopath she refused to give me the referrals, saying there was no need. She has not once been proactive in helping with my ongoing pain issues and trying to help me manage or find a cause. I will not be seeing her again

Dr.Susan Dixon treats patients like naughty children. She showed no compassion for my husband's incurable pancreatic cancer on our visit to fill out the "green sleeve", instructions on dying, and ushered us out saying he was not going to see her again. She is completely uncompassationate, and rude.

Unprofessional and is not open to my needs for a collaborative approach to my health and wellness. Has on multiple occasions told me that my naturopathic doctor and physiotherapist are "not real doctors" when I have spoken about them supporting in my complex health challenges which is completely uncalled for and their support has done more for me than hers. I have had to advocate for my health and wellness every step of the way. I even tried seeing a different doctor at the same clinic but was told that Dr. Dixon would not allow me to switch doctors, I am not allowed to take my health decision into my own hands and make the best decisions with her as my doctor. I strongly recommend seeing a different doctor!

Extremely unprofessional. Every time I asked to be referred to either and OB or a Dermatologist she said “we don’t do that here”. When I became pregnant last year and asked her if I could have further blood work done, she said no and it resulted in a miscarriage that could have likely been prevented with progesterone. Do not go to this doctor if you are one to do your own research or prefer a holistic approach. She gets offended if you see someone else and doesn’t truly care about your well being.

I followed her from another clinic once finding out where she went! I have always loved her! Her and I always have a great conversation catching up about family, relationships, my job and she is always on top of my medical issues. I’ve never had any negative experiences listed below at all! In comparison to my old doctor I was left with at the clinic she left she is a shining star!
