Dr. Wilcox and his entire staff are true professionals. I had been going to one of his injection nurses for Botox for years and finally made the decision to undergo a "Mommy Makeover". I had been unhappy with my body after having my children and unfortunately, working out and diet just weren't working. I went in for my initial consultation and immediately felt at ease with the kindness and patience Dr. Wilcox and his staff showed me. I'm not going to lie, the surgery was tough. But I was adequately prepared for what I would experience post-operatively and my pain was well controlled. Dr. Wilcox was punctual to all of my follow-up visits and I quickly realized that his office runs extremely efficiently. I just completed my final follow up visit and am absolutely thrilled at my results! Very minimal scarring and a flat tummy with an actual waist! I feel more self-confident every day . I highly recommend Dr. Wilcox and his staff and can't thank them enough!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Dr Wilcox and his staff. Besides him and his staff being very knowledgeable on everything i’ve had done or had questions about. He is gone above and beyond for me in my personal life as well. I had a Trumatic event happened to me last year and Dr Wilcox went above and beyond to help me get through it. I’ve never met a doctor like him before and I guarantee I never will again. Thank you for everything

My dermatologist identified a melanoma on my left arm and recommended that I contact a plastic surgeon to have it removed. Needless to say, such a finding is a very unnerving event. I contacted Dr. Wilcox’ office and they were able to quickly schedule surgery to remove the melanoma. The entire procedure was handled quickly and efficiently and I ended up with only a small scar on my arm. Dr. Wilcox sent the removed skin for review by a pathologist and called me to tell me that the margins were clear and the cancer was in situ. What a relief! While I hope that no one faces this type of plastic surgery procedure, I can highly recommend Dr. Wilcox and his very competent and friendly staff.

5 days out of gynocomastia surgery with Dr. Wilcox. I am already thrilled with the results. The entire process has been seamless. If you are considering this procedure, go to him you will not regret it. I struggled with gyno for years and wish I would have done this so much sooner!

Excellent surgeon for gynecomastia surgery. It initially felt weird, as a young male, going to a plastic surgeon to have elective plastic surgery. But I can not be happier with the end result. I gained so much confidence and since the surgery I now have the drive and motivation to lift weights (I didn't consistently prior to the surgery because no matter how hard I worked in the gym, my physique did not look normal due to the man t*ts). He really is a pioneer in this field (probably the only surgeon in the DFW area who doesn't do the incision at the nipple) and you can tell that he has done this procedure many times. His staff is great, and his MA or nurse was very skilled. An upside to his office is that he actually has an in house operative center where he does all of his surgeries. The price you are quoted is the price that you pay - you won't get bills from the facility or anesthesiologists. Although I didn't think the scars looked bad, at my FU appointment, he injected my scars with cortisone to flatten them and he didn't even charge me extra.

My only complaint is that he doesn't take the time to answer your concerns...while I was recovering I seriously thought my chest was going to be deformed. He was always defensive and a little pissed off when I asked him simple questions about the healing process and how the end result was going to look. But I guess in the end it didn't really matter because the results are excellent. He is very talented and knows his work.

In all - if you are a male thinking about getting this done, do it sooner than later. I wish I would have done this years ago. And don't go to a surgeon who rarely works with gynecomastia, or cuts through the nipple, unless you want your nips to look deformed.

Dr.Wilcox is simply amazing. I had a breast reduction surgery three weeks ago. He took off almost five pounds from my chest. Not only is the staff ( from reception to nursing) kind, thoughtful and very respectful but Dr. Wilcox is so talented. He did a great job. His bedside manner puts my nerves at ease and he feels like not only my surgeon but my friend. He truly is a gift. He made me feel at ease through the whole process( consultation to my still post op appt's) and even made my husband feel at ease too. Everything was explained to me from the start and any question I have along the way...is always answered. He not only changed me appearance to better my health but he changed my life. He is for sure an angel.

I underwent gynecomastia surgery at the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas several months ago. From the initial consultation to the final follow-up visit, I commend Dr. Wilcox for his patience in answering my questions. The office staff has been all-around friendly and professional. As for the results of my surgery, I believe that this has been one of the best choices I've made for myself. I am glad that I chose Dr. Wilcox since his technique involves going in through small incisions underneath the armpits, resulting in minimal scarring that is mostly hidden. Additionally, there was no drainage tube necessary immediately after surgery. The recovery wasn't anywhere near painful, instead it was more sore than anything. The compression vest is really crucial to a successful recovery. I chose Dr. Wilcox since he does a high volume of these procedures annually, so I was more at ease that he would have the experience to pull off good results. I wish I had done this sooner!
