Taking my son to see this doctor was simply a mistake. I was patient as I was looking for brief check-ins and advice. It was my hope to establish a doctor patient relationship should any medical concerns arise. All appointments were met with annoyance and dismissiveness. Maybe burnout or just being selective of patients but a very disappointing experience nonetheless.

I went to dr Schur for at least 15 years until I was 19. When I started exhibiting long term sadness and signs of depression and thoughts of self harm, she immediately wanted to put me on medication. She ended up putting me on a combination of 2 SSRIs and kept increasing my dose when I exhibited even more signs of self harm and thoughts of suicide. After switching doctors I decided to come off of the medication all together and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was in debilitating pain as a result of being on Walbutrin for so long. She also put me on birth control for no reason at a very young age and I struggled to have a regular period indefinitely. I would never bring my children to someone like her.

I brought my children to Doctor Schur for 8 years. She didn't always have top bedside manner depending on the day but I always trusted her 100% and found her to create time and space for last minute appointments when my kids were sick. Her appointments could sometimes feel a bit rushed but on the flip side she was always on time which considering I was often trying to fit an appointment in to my work day I greatly appreciated and when things were more serious she definitely slowed down to take the time to make sure I understand, I did not appreciate her receptionist and her cold demeanour but I looked past this as I appreciated Dr. Schur's expertise.

Was terrible with my daughter. When asking about birth control she absolutely got angry and brushed us off completely, insisting on an IUD for her and nothing else. Then ended the appointment and said she refused to see her again. I've known many of her female patients who ended up pregnant with their IUD, and I'm glad we didn't listen to her and get the IUD for my daughter. Very disappointing, glad to hear she is retiring so she cannot do any more emotional damage to the girls.

I loved Dr Schur. She's always on time, super easy to get an appointment and has had lots of resources when I've needed them. She has a no bull sht attitude which i really appreciated. I'm very sad she is retiring. She will be very missed.

The most rude and condescending doctor I have come across. I asked her for resources and help regarding my child’s suicide attempt and she brought me to tears. She essentially told me it wasn’t her problem and was angry that I even wanted to discuss it with her. There was a complete lack of empathy and kindness. Truly was a horrible and disrespectful experience.

I've known Dr. Schur for over 20 years, never had problems with staff regarding appointments or over the phone consultations with the Dr herself . She inspired my daughter who would like to become a pediatrician like her. Great personality, will recommend her to other parents I know!

Very disappointed, does not listen to patient concerns, only hears what she wants to hear. Will cut you off mid sentence to berate you or your child. Better with boys, abhorrent with girls. Just stay away, there are better doctors out there.

I find her so rude and very inconsiderate doctor i have ever known, always in a rush and find her not concerned to my son.All she knows is to give immunization, poke needles that’s all. Not knowledgeable at all.

Dr Schur is the best, we are so lucky to have her as our Pediatrician. She is caring, takes the time to ask questions during assessment and physical exam to ensure the diagnoses are correct. We trust her 100%.
