Dr. Mallick is slow. He is a dr. of few words. He is quick to prescribe pills to help solve a medical problem. When I had a toe fungus he simply cut the toenail off with scissors without any freezing!

Dr Mallick was my family doctor since I was little, I found him to be very helpful with all the health issues that arose to both myself and my family :0)

No one should bother seeing this doctor. He is extremely unprofessional with "ZERO" personality.Doesnt look at you, doesnt say hello or anything. You tell HIM what you think is wrong, while he's already writting out the perscription for drugs! He must go through many perscription pads per hour. The College of Phy. should put a stop to this practice. Good Doctors sincerly care for their patients and take their time. Why then should both doctors be paid the same. This walk-in should be banned! I'll never return! He is getting rich on tax payers money and does very little.

Have been a couple times. Once went becasue of chest pains and he said it was acid reflux and prescribed T3s, I ripped up the prescription after I left. He is unknowledgable, disrespectful and the conditions of his office are unclean and uncomfotable. I would never want to lie down on his exam table ever. it's filthy. I am a student in the medical field and knew some of the questions he SHOULD have asked if he were competent, he did not ask tehse questions or perform the exams necessary and I was very shocked and disappointed that somebody with the amount of letters behind his name (MD, ...) could be so neglectful.

I went to the Walk-In for a laceration to my hand. Dr.Mallick was the alternative. The people at reception are unorganized, unprofessional, and disinterested. I walked in and they scribbled my med#/name down on a scrap of paper. In plain view I sat holding my bleeding hand for 3 hours; being patient since it is a walk-in.. 1 1/2 hr in to it I went up to see what my wait time was like..1 1/2 hours later After the last of the people waiting and gone in and out I went up to ask what was going on and if I was going to get medical attention. The person at the desk said "I thought you were waiting for someone" I explained that I was waiting for the doctor to stitch up my hand.. Finally I got into see Dr.Mallick. I found the conditions in the office unsanitary. Lots of "consumer grade" medical products from Safeway dirty waiting room / examination area. Dr Mallick was friendly and knew how to dress up the wound. Next time I'll do it myself and save the wait.

Dr Mallick is not a Dr at all. My regular Dr was away this particular week, so had to go to Dr Mallick's walk-in clinic. I had never seen him before do didn't know what to expect. I had persistant cough and couldn't talk. After about 30 seconds he diagnosed me with bronchitis and strep throat (no tests performed and no questions asked) and prescribed antibiotics. After 5 days no improvement. My regular Dr was back by then, so went to see her. Turned out I had pnuemonia in my left lung, confirmed by chest XRays, she treated me for pneumonia was was better in a few days. Dr Mallick should not be practicing medicine and I will tell everyone I know never to go to him.

I Went to see this so called "physician" after having severe abdominal pain for over a week and loss of weight and loss of appetite.. I explained all my complications (to his deaf ear)and all he could do was have the prescription pad in his hand and was already writing out a prescription for an antacid.. he makes no eye contact and doesn't appear to listen to a word you are saying..I walked out of the office , threw the prescription he gave me in the garbage by the receptionist... within 6 hours of leaving his office I was in the ER at the Vic and they were slating an emergency ERCP to remove a stone blocking the common bile duct... and to think you bill Manitoba medical with a clear conscience??? Time to call it quits and let your son Dr.Andrew Mallick take over, at least he is a good doctor.

I went to Dr.Mallick for the first time with a swollen bump on my arm and redness on my entire fore-arm. I wasn't sure what had caused it and the doctor did not ask any questions. He took one look at it and wrote out a prescription for antibiotics and a cream. After 3 days, the swelling of my fore-arm was gone but the bump was still there and had even gotten bigger. When I started to experience shooting pains and my entire arm was tingling, I went to the hospital. The doctor there informed me that the prescription I was given for antibiotics was for the wrong kind and the cream was only making the situation worse. If I hadn't gone for a second opinion, the infection could've spread further and started to affect my nervous system. I Thank God that there are actually doctors that know what they're doing out there because clearly Dr.Mallick is not one of them. I would only return to see this doctor if he learned how to care for his patients and not just brush them off like pesky flies.
