I'm a little late for this rating. But I had to write something. Dr Hurowitz saved my life. Not just physically but emotionally as well. Before he became my doctor I almost gave up on life. I was in the worst pain everyday and my mind was completely done. No one would help me or give me any answers. I was just passed around from doctor to doctor. Then I found Dr Hurowitz and someone finally cared enough to help me. If it wasn't for him I really don't think I would be around today. He put life back into me and now I'm doing so much better and feeling so much better. I also can't forget about Gloria who was always the nicest person to talk to on the phone. She would always help me out when I needed to see Dr Hurowitz right away. I miss them everyday.
Not much else to say but thank you both for always being there for me when I needed it. I owe you both my life.

When calling Dr. Hurowitz's office the new admin said "he's retired, he doesn't practice any more, Dr. Jason Reinglas has taken over the practice". I've since learned that his retirement wasn't by choice, it was because of an unexpected personal health diagnosis. And after many years working alongside Dr. Hurowitz, Gloria chose to retire. I have seen Dr. Hurowitz several times over the years. He's one of a kind! I will miss them both and wish them all the very best. My thoughts and prayers are with you Dr. Hurowitz. Thanks for everything!

My son has been seeing by Dr Horowitz and we were so happy. He is undoubtedly a very knowledgeable and kind human being. Also Gloria is an awesome person and always cooperative and pleasant. I called to his office to resume my son’s visits. I learnt that Dr Horowitz doesn’t practice any more. Gloria also left. I wish them all the happiness.

He is caring, patient, listens to me, gives diagnosis and medical advice calmly and doesn't rush to finish the exam. So far, he's the best specialist I ever had .

He's very judgmental, and I did not feel comfortable at all seeing him during my periodic checkups.

Dr. Eric Hurowitz is an incredible and caring doctor who goes above and beyond to care for his patients! He takes the time to listen and is always willing to explain and ease any fears you may have! There is no one else like him! Gloria his very important assistant is always kind, caring and helpful! I am wishing Dr. H a speedy recovery! I so hope to see him and Gloria again!

Dr Eric Hurowitz if I want to write a comments about Eric I can write a book about him
Such a caring wonderful Doctor,Three yrs ago I diagnosed with cancer which was junction of esophagus and the stomach because of him and other two ontologist ( Dr Carmine Simone fromTEGH Thoracic oncologist ,and Dr Scott Berry from SunnyBrook ) I am still here with cancer free and I have to say Gloria is fantastic secretary friendly and very helpful
I am looking Fwd to see Dr Hurowitz soon behind the desk at 4040 Finch Ave

Dr hurowitz is the most caring dr I have ever had have known him for about 25 years and was diagnosed with colon cancer 21 years ago and rectal cancer 2018 he acted fast and made sure I had an appointment at the Odette centre at sunnybrook of which I had been a patient 21 years ago because of Dr hurowitz's fast action I am cancer free today gloria is fantastic and efficient as well very caring what a team! !
I hope dr hurowitz's journey outcome will be good as mine was

Dr Hurowitz is by far THE BEST DOCTOR. To all that have had him as their doctor - they were blessed. Dr Hurowitz went above and beyond - went out of his way to visit my son at 7am on his day off and then quickly fit him in to his busy schedule for further testing. He quickly diagnosed my son and began treatments. If it wasn't for Dr Hurowitz I don't know how much more damage would have been done as we waited for a diagnosis. Gloria is absolutely amazing. Always answers the phone and helps in absolutely every way possible. This is THE best team . I wish Dr Hurowitz the best of health and success in his journey. He has done so much good for so many people and he deserves tenfold in return! Good things must happen to good people.
