Very dismissive, cold and unsympathetic. I left his office feeling unheard and frustrated.

Read the comments. I’ve seen dr.reed a few times and the more I know him, the more I realize how bad he is. Arrogant and not very good overall.

It’s pretty much known in the elite sporting community that there are much better options for sport care than Dr Reed

Amazing doctor. Straight shooter, he will tell you what is going on without sugar coating things. Has good treatment options in clinic but also will refer out if needed. I never feel rushed during appointments. Answers all questions. Understands my need to get back to activity and does everything he can to get me there!

I’ve been seeing Andy for numerous problems throughout the years. He’s a very experienced sports doctor that really knows and does his job to the highest caliber.

Dr Reed was a family Doctor at Ridgeview Medical in Canmore . During his time there he mis-diagnosed our youngest daughter twice. The first was for a chronic bowel problem which was finally, correctly, diagnosed by his replacement at Ridgeview and resulted in her seeing a specialist at Alberta Children's Hospital and a paediatrician in Canmore. The second resulted in an emergency admission to Canmore General Hospital and another (emergency)trip to ACH. I am so glad is no longer the family doctor for my daughters and I would never personally see him for a sports injury. He is quick to dismiss seemingly minor problems.

One moment laughing with you, next telling you get out never wrong even proven never apologize sincerely. Leave patient unable to walk in agony completely apathetic to welfare patient. Doesn’t recongize long term patients. Bean counter time depedent how much he can make from you.

Was knowledgeable, but told me I was okay and to continue with what I am doing. I am in chronic pain, I am not okay. I had been doing the same course of treatment for over a year with no results, and he suggested I continue. I am an active person both at work and in my free time and it is greatly affecting my daily activities. I was excited to see him because from one runner to another I figured he would be a good fit for me. He didn't give me treatment options, or any help, or ask to see me again for a follow-up. I have seen another Dr in Calgary who has suggested good homecare, as well as requested a follow-up appointment to discuss more options if my pain is to continue. Dr. Reed brushed me off like nothing was happening, but I have major degenerative changes in my knee, that isn't nothing.
