Dr. Mollie Thompson was a delightful care provider. She was thorough with her exam and explanation for diagnosis and where to go from here. She stated "my heart goes out to you" in regards to chronic pain. Her front desk staff was courteous and concerned and her nurse/ma was caring and thoughtful. I would highly recommend her and her team to any patient needing a rheumatologist.

Dr. Mollie Thompson with the NW Rheumatology group is a very knowledgeable doctor and very experienced in her specialty of rheumatology. I have had very positive treatment for my RA with Dr. Thompson. She always puts the care of her patient in the fore front of her profession and she is always attentive to the patients needs. She goes the extra mile for her patients by administering any testing available to determine the medical needs of her patients and prescribes the necessary medicines to manage the patients disease. She is always helpful in working with the patient to determine a treatment plan for her patients and offers a lot of advise to help manage pain and to help manage daily living. She is always punctual to her appointments with her patients, as she also expects the patient to be punctual so she can manage her patients care to the highest level of care for all involved. The nursing staff at Dr Thompsn's practice are top notch professionals also. They are very helpful and attentive to the patients needs and very helpful to answer any questions the patient might have. The office administrators are top notch professionals also. They are kind, respectful and helpful to all the patients to make sure the patient is taken care of from the point of checking in for an appointment to checking out. They are very thorough and make sure to cover all the doctors notes for follow up appointments needing scheduling to reminding the patient of any blood tests and other tests the doctor wants completed. I cannot find one negative thing to say about Dr. Thompson and all of her staff. I am extremely pleased and can give the highest recommendation with a score of 5 all across the board.

I have to agree with other reviewers. Slow to diagnose and treat. Also knowledge seems very out of date. Only diagnoses and treats long after the damage appears. My Family practitioner could diagnose with that criteria.

When first referred to Dr. Thompson, I was 6weeks postpartum with my first son. Dr. Thompson was quick to run tests and determine the true extent of my RA and to act quickly. I had to subsequent pregnancies, all under her treatment, and she has been available to me on moments notice (after hours, during lunch breaks, etc) when I needed help. Her assistant is very personable and quick to respond to questions. Scheduling is easy, as long as you schedule out (it can be hard to get appointments on short notice sometimes). Never have to wait very long before being seen, and she spends more time in the room with me than most of my other doctors. She's been very proactive about switching therapies when one stops working.

Old school rheumatologist - lacks current knowledge, slow to diagnose and treat adequately, lacks good communication skills and collaborative approach with patient, missing the essentials of good patient care. Not recommended.
