Avoid. Worst doctor and office I have ever been to. Just came for a simple birth control visit that took 3 visits, endless phone calls and frustration. Office refuses to call to update me on anything, makes it extremely difficult to order bc, tells me it's my fault, when I call the other company they inform me the office is incorrect. If I had not been on top of it I have no doubt I never would have gotten anything and still had to pay them. Dr. Leung continually tried to talk my out of the bc I wanted, I'm assuming because she didnt know how to do it, she then inserted it INCORRECTLY the first time and I have an unnecessary scar, didnt even pretend to look the least bit sorry. Had to return but of course still pay copay. Now I am getting a suspicious 100+ dollar bill from office for "office visits" that says 2nd notice, did not recieve this first one, with interesting coding. Will be discussing with my insurance company to determine and investigate if I am being scammed. Do not go here!! Worst experience ever. 0 stars.

I've been through 2 pregnancies with Dr. Leung, and I know first hand that she knows what she's doing and she loves what she does. When my own Mother died of cancer several years ago, her support was heartfelt, and she gave me excellent advice I. Regards to my own health. Her only weakness is that she overworks herself.

Truly horrible experience with Dr. Leung, and an even worse experience dealing with her unfriendly, unprofessional staff. I went to Dr. Leung today to receive my ultrasound results. She rushed through the explanation of my fibroid tumors and said I may or may not need surgery. I asked for her recommendation and she said, "It's a grey zone. It's up to you." She did not explain advantages or disadvantages. She then gave me a biopsy and did not inform me it might be painful or talk me thru the procedure at all. I left and asked her front office person, Nadine, if I could have a copy of my one-page ultrasound lab report. She said, "I already clocked out for lunch." I responded by saying it's just one page, and she informed me she didn't get paid overtime. I am extremely displeased with the quality of care I received from Dr. Leung and her staff. No bedside manner, no discussion of options - a rushed, confusing, frustrating experience. Clearly not a patient-focused office.

The reviews for Dr Leung are really off, and I think you need to meet her to realize how great she is. I have had two pregnancies with her, and hoping for another soon. I have no hips, and my son's head was (and still is) so big that it wasn't even on the chart. Even so, she helped me through a vaginal delivery and didn't push for a c-section. I think Dr Leung is the sweetest lady, but she's also real. You have to be sensitive to the fact that the internet makes many of us think we understand birth plans better than the trained MDs. If you are someone who wants a very personalized birth experience and wants to go against traditional practice, I would say she's not the right person for that. Her staff are real people...if you treat them nice, they will treat you well too. I personally adore them all! I also know other MDs tell their patients that like them to vote for and rate them online. That is so misleading. Dr L knows I love her, so it means something she's never asked me to.

Dr Leung is a fantastic physician! I have had two pregnancies with her, and if it weren't for her thorough evaluations and attentiveness, we very easily could have lost our second child. Yes, she is spunky and "quick" when things are good, but she actually sees you every prenatal visit (as opposed to an NP or PA like other fancy OBs in Pasadena). She is very conservative and willing to point you to a specialist as soon as she feels a second opinion is needed. She is not arrogant and unwilling to let others give input. Turns out, she was completely right in her initial concern with our child, and we thank her for that. With my "normal" pregnancy, she was wonderful. Since I started seeing her four years ago, I have referred several friends and family to her and she has been great for all of them. It seems like most of the complaints are about insurance. I have an HMO and it is a pain everywhere except Dr L's office because the staff is great and organized.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Leung. She is not thorough and does not give time for questions. Additionally, she will take tests and send out specimens without asking you first. I went to see her for a well woman and a few months later I got billed for $200 for tests I never asked for. When I questioned her about this her response was "Are you more concerned with spending your money on clothes or your health"...that comment came out of the blue and was quite unprofessional and uncalled for. I now am going through the long process of finding another GYN doctor, but it's much more worth it than going back to Dr. Leung.

So, she was never my doctor. She helped my doctor without my knowledge or consent. I then received a bill from her staff for the "delivery fee" with a poorly articulated, rudely phrased, handwritten note explaining that my insurance denied their claim because I wasn't covered. I have no idea who the doctor is, and I can't get a hold of her staff. I have no idea who they billed (it isn't on the bill) and it all seems very fishy. Very odd way to present yourself to potential clients...and it made my OB look bad too. I won't go to either of them now.

I love, love, love Dr. Leung. I am currently seeing her with my first pregnancy and she has been nothing but kind, supportive and, informative of any questions I might have. I must admit that I also did have issues with the reception staff, but after a while they became nicer and easy to deal with. Overall, I like her joking manner and quickness of the visits. I mean, honestly, i don't need her to talk to me for 30-45 min during each visit when I have stuff to do too. This of course is all subjective, I can see how she may rub people the wrong way....but I feel that she so far has been a perfectly competent and sweet doctor to me and my baby.

Watch out for abusive and incompetent staff! I've seen some comments about negative experiences with staff, and they seem to be right on target. Dr. Leung assisted with my wife's C section, and we got a bill a couple of months later. They had billed the wrong insurance company, and then sent us a bill for the entire fee (which, as you can imagine, is substantial). I thought this problem would be easily resolved by providing them with the correct insurance information, but I have sent it to them twice now and they have yet to bill our insurance. Instead, they have begun sending us nasty letters threatening to destroy our credit! I'm really not sure how our problem will be resolved. But, folks, do yourselves a favor and avoid these people. There are plenty of good doctors in the Pasadena area who do not surround themselves with abusive and incompetent staff.
