We were referred to Dr. Kwartler from all the way in Bergen County. He is the best ENT around and is knowledgeable and confident in his work. He took the time to answer all of my questions and frequently asked if I had any other questions and concerns. He corrected a perforation in my son's eardrum. After the procedure, my son was back to his old self within hours and no need for any pain medication, not even Tylenol. My son's ear is finally healed and he has passed his hearing test with flying colors for the first time in 6 years. Thank you Dr. Kwartler.

Dr. Kwartler saved my sanity and is compassionate. He is an amazing surgeon as I had invasive surgery on my ear. I did not have to take prescription pain killers, which is a testament to his skill and care for his patients.
I highly recommend him as he did not rush to perform surgery because he wanted to ensure that all tests pointed to the need for surgery.

Dr Kwartler seems very knowledgeable , but I am finding it impossible to schedule a minor surgical procedure for a Baha implant ( Bone anchored hearing aid ) . The lady who does the scheduling doesn't answer the phone or return calls very well . When she finally did , she gave me incorrect info about the procedure . I asked her to check with the doctor , she said she would and would call me back . No call . I am going to go elsewhere because I can't have surgery based on miscommunications .

Dr. Kwartler is an amazing surgeon and human being. He successfully removed my acoustic neuroma and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. His bed side manner is top of the line. I would highly recommend Dr. Kwartler. You will not be disappointed.

I've had radical mastoidectomy's in both ears over the past 5 years while living in another state. When I moved back to NJ, I needed to find an oto who is also a board certified otologist/neurotologist, which Kwartler is, and is rated very highly. He gave me an exam and prescribed an MRI to see how my internal ear structure is going as part of my on-going checkup. Over a week after he recieevd the results of my MRI, I still haven't heard back from Kwartler do discuss my results. Since it is imperative that I check my ears periodically because my original problem could return, I am very disappointed that he has not returned my calls, or contacted me. I would NOT recommend Dr Kwartler.

Do NOT use this Dr. for a stapedectomy. He doesn't have the experience. He screwed up my ear and when I went back to him for help, he sat there scratching his head. I was lucky to find a Dr in Ohio that has done thousands of these surgeries and he was able to restore my hearing.
