I love Dr. Hunter! She is amaaaazing! She has created a welcoming and warm environment in her clinic for both her patients and her staff. She is incredibly professional, kind and explains everything very detailed in a way you can understand easily too!

She is very unprofessional. Very rude, and condescending to patients and her staff. I would rather go blind then back to a clinic she works at.

My first time appointment here and the last. I got new glasses and as usual, I paid extra for scratch resistant coating. 3 months later and my lenses are scuffed up worse than any pair I have ever had. They haven't been abused in any way and the only cloth to touch the lenses is the soft cloth that comes with new frames. There is no obvious reason why they are so vulnerable to soft scratches and I am certain the coating was never applied because of this.

When I asked Hunter if there was a possibility someone made an error on their end or at the manufacturer's and if anything could be done about the scratches, she was immediately offended, as if I had accused her or the business of ripping me off.

I couldn't be bothered to talk with this person no longer, bit the bullet and will have to pay for new lenses a lot sooner than I normally would have.

My frames and lenses from now on will be purchased online, where it is affordable. It's absolutely silly and ridiculous that decent frames, made of plastic and maybe a wee bit of metal, cost $200 or more when bought at an optometrist.

Dr. Hunter is the best optometrist I or my family have ever received care from. I drive over 100km just to receive care from herself and her staff.

I was in the Tisdale area last week when I developed a vision issue that needed to be checked out. Dr. Hunter couldn't have been nicer. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me so thoroughly. I was very impressed and appreciative of the care I received.

this is an update to previous rating regarding brutal customer service. Dr. Hunter was very professional and resolved situation in a very positive manner. Her office manager was lacking in proper customer service but Heather more than made up for her inadequacy.

Dr Hunter and the staff in Tisdale are simply outstanding. I had every aspect of my condition explained to me slowly and thoroughly. I have never experienced such a knowledgeable professional with such communication skills.
