Dr. Labinaz is the most compassionate and kindest doctor that I have ever known. During my stent procedure, my arteries dissected and Dr. Labinaz literally saved my life. He was so calm through it all. He never flinched. He came to see me after my surgery and the next day. He was so kind and explained everything so clearly and in a way that I could understand. My follow up appointments were always so positive and he really took his time to explain everything to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Labinaz. Karen is amazing as well! How lucky are we to have is amazing team here in Ottawa?

I received the best care from the staff at the QCH, paramedics and staff at the Heart Institute.. even through my Heart Attack during Covid.. I never really felt alone as the staff was very comforting. The reassurance and knowledge of Dr Labinaz has been exceptional. I am so grateful to have been given a second chance at life and the fresh start at life has been continuously monitored and followed up by him and his team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I was rushed to Ottawa Heart Institute from QCH. It was determined I did not have a heart attack but had TTS which is fairly rare. Spent 11 days in hospital. Had great after care and follow up. We are so lucky to have the Heart Institute in Ottawa. Dr. Labinaz was great, and answered my many concerns. Now 6 years later and I am doing great.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Labinaz. I was scheduled for an angiogram and got cancelled because of covid 19. I was concerned about a couple of things and called his office and he called me back next day addressing all my concerns. I was rescheduled for my angiogram 2 weeks ago and was told it would be 4-6 weeks for me to receive my new aortic valve. 10 days later I got the called and the tavi procedure was done 4 days later. Dr. Labinaz was very professional in answering all my questions, did the procedure, came to see me that night to tell me the procedure was textbook and again the next morning to answer questions any questions. His bedside manner is above and beyond. Thank you Dr. Labinaz. Also his receptionist Karen was also very pleasant and most helpful.
