Dr Wardell has been my doctor for 27 years and that of my 5 children- she delivered 4 of them. I will be devastated when she retires. We are beginning to introduce our children to her daughter - Dr. Merriweather who works in the same clinic. Dr. Wardell has been one of the greatest blessings that I do not take for granted.

Does not rush patients , has a warm personality , I have went to Dr Wardell since 1990 and she is a very caring Dr with a gentle touch .

Fantastic physician!!
Unfortunately, the office staff is atrocious. Not only belittling while speaking on the phone, but demeaning and rude in person as well. I get “white coat syndrome”, but it’s from the people at registration, not the doctor.

I would wait for Dr Wardell forever if I had too. You might have to wait for Dr Wardell but she never rushes you and gives her patient’s the time needed for each issue. She has been my family physician for 38 years and I hate the thought of having to look for another family physician.

I don’t have a bad word to say about Dr. Wardell, I was referred to her when I was pregnant with my first child and I haven’t had the urge to search for anyone else since. 19 years ive been her patient. She delivered both of my children. She has helped me through chronic pain, some depression, this last year saved my life by getting me into the best surgeon possible for GI issues and even took time while she was on holidays at Christmas to help me when I was in severe pain. Now she is helping me through this Covid garbage by phone and I talk to her regularly because of the meds I’m weaning off of, and calmed me with my husbands most recent diagnosis of prostate cancer. She tells me often we are in this together. The medication I’m on is not easy to just quit. Together we have worked out a balance of having quality of life and weaning down. This has not been an easy road. She truly cares about my health and happiness. I will be lost when she retires. I just pray she won’t but I know that’s impossible. I know when the time comes though she will pass me on to the best in the field. Health is so important, decisions aren’t made easily when you are in pain. So many variables and she does what is best for me each and every time. People complain about having to wait...I don’t understand why. Your health comes first so the slight inconvenience of having to wait you know you are getting the best treatment possible from her! Love her and would recommend her 100% each and every time!!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wardell since 1981, when the clinic was on 21st st. She not only looked after myself but also my mom, mother in law and sister in law. Sometimes you have a bit of a wait but I don't mind. Never rushes you out of the room, always asks if there is anything else.

Dr. Wardell has been my doctor for the last 36 years and it will be a sad day for me when she retires and I have to start looking for a new family physician. She has been there for me with a number of health issues. I feel bad for the people who will never have her for their physician.

While she may be late, I know she will always give me the time I need and I assume her late appointment time is a result of her giving other patients the time they need as well, or maybe she is delivering a baby! I wouldn’t trade her for another family doctor antwhere!

Love Dr. Wardell! She delivered me 35 years ago and delivered my son 7 years ago. She is so wonderful and always takes the time to make sure I feel comfortable before I leave the office. I find her to be very caring and always takes the time to answer my questions. She is usually running late so I think the office should schedule appointments 30 minutes apart instead of 15. I find some of the staff at the office to be rude and not friendly. I will keep seeing Dr. Wardell!
