Corrupt doctor and a criminal. She pretended to be my family doctor, illegally using my personal information, when my family doctor was in Toronto from 2005 to 2013, Vancouver from 2013 to 2018, Guelph from 2018 to 2019, Madrid from 2020 to 2021, and Montréal from 2021 to today. She fraudulently worked with my mom and my mom's partner, both friends of hers (and my mom is her patient) to create a fraudulent certificate of mental health while I was living and working and studying as an independent adult in Vancouver in 2017 and not her patient.

I was "stuck' with her for eight years... all she wanted to do was write prescriptions. She duped me into taking a narcotic that was dangerous to my exsisting liver condition. I was in my first year of alcohol recovery and was naive to the pharmikia witch doctors that preyed on need insecure addict as myself. I survived her and am now clean sober and sane. She ran out the door when I was crumbling from her over prescribed T3's Thank God... she retired from the clinic but continued writing scripts for the addicts at the walk in clinic. I pray she is now fully retired . YaH have mercy on her satanic soul!

I find Dr Scruton cold and distant. I ask more questions than she does. She has been our family Dr. for almost 10 years and I have no relationship with her whatsoever. I have 3 kids, one with epilepsy. I have never found her to be proactive with my families healthcare needs. I have tried on more than one occasion to make appointments with other Drs at the clinic she works out of and have been told by the reception staff that I cannot see another Dr as I am her patient. I've only seen a different Dr once and it was because she was away. When she was still in Cumberland I had to wait for over an hour several times. I think she is past due to retire and wish she would so I could get another Dr. My kids refuse to go back to her and choose to go to a walk-in when they need medical attention.

I find Joan Scutton a very open and friendly Dr. She always listens and gives her advice in terms I understand. If Dr. Scutton is unsure of something , she will find you someone that specializes in the area you need.I would recommend her to anyone that I care about with no hesitation.I for one will keep her as my Dr.as long as she stays in practise.

I was recommended to go to Dr. Scruton. On my first visit she attempted to close the door of the exam room, but the door didn't close. She just left it - I guess confidentiality isn't an issue with her. I found her to be a cold individual. On my second visit to her, there was no change, so I didn't go back.

AN EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL!! This is the only doctor I had seen who would listen to my symptoms, insure an accurate diagnosis, and find me a neurosurgeon to operate immediately. She is exceptionally caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Simply the best!

Dr.Joan Scruton, is most definetly the best Dr. out there. If it was not for her I would not have gotten a lung transplant. I wpould be dead by now if it was not for Dr.Scruton.

In my opinion, she would rather be home on Denman Island feeding her goats. Is not up on current medicine nor has good diagnostic skills.I know of several people personally with the same point of view, and they arrived at this the same way I did, which was seeing her for something more complicated than for example a cold or flu.

When I had to see this so called Dr if that is what you would call her. I was appaulled by the way she treated me. She would not even talk about what was wrong, gave me perscription and left. She was so insensitive, and terrible manners. I refuse to this so called Dr ever again. I will wait the time to see my regular Dr.

This doctor does not listen to patients. She likes to prescribe drugs and is negligent with them. After almost being hospitalized from drug interactions fron not listning she tried to prepeat this episode. Brian Black
