My father is 91 and was admitted into hospital. Dr. Grabner is his doctor and I'm so glad she is. She is caring, compassionate, explains questions in a way that is understood so we can make an informed decision, and is the first doctor that has finally found the right dosage and drugs to manage my father's chronic pain. I have confidence in her abilities and knowledge.

i would have been at this clinic for over 5 years now. she would have been my third doctor. My old one has moved to the general. when she came to this clinic me and my family were asked to come in to sign forms and PAY 25 dollars for each person (my grandmother, grandfather, my mother and father, my brother and myself). In doing this we were lead to believe that it was a new government fee for changing doctors. i went in this past september to make an appointment for pre-natal care. i was informed that they had my file still on hand but that i was no longer her patient because i had not made an appointment with in her first three months. I had not created a reason to make an appointment and there for i was no longer her patient? I had saved the healthcare system an unwanted ding. i was also informed that if i were to get a new doctor i would have to pay ANOTHER 25 dollars. I would like to know what the 25 dollars was put towards? if someone could message me that would be great!

We are a family of 5 that have high medical needs with youngest child being medically fragile & handicapped. We had no family doctor for the first two years we moved to Brantford. We were able to get on with Dr. Grabner and have had no difficulty with her at all. I have never experienced her "moodiness" as others post and rather shocked by the postings. Maybe you get what you give, perhaps check your own attitude first. It is hard to get in to see her when "emergencies" arrise with her only in the office 2 days/wk, but we manage with walk-in clinics. My entire family likes Dr. Grabner and the wait times are wonderful. I came from a doctor that with a scheduled appt. expect to be there 1-4 hrs. So the 15 min. wait time max here is easy to swallow. I think medical practice has changed and YOU need to be more envolved, research your diagnoses and be pro-active to your own medical care. Keep up the good work Claudia..we are more than happy with your practice.

Totally useless and incompetent. Gave me medication but never bothered to tell me the possible side-effects. I ended up in Emergency twice because of her.

I feel like her practice is very "McDonalds"; get you in and out as quick as they can. The fact that you are told one big thing or two small things coupled with the fact that it takes so long to get in to see her makes it extremely difficult to get effective and caring treatment. My previous Dr. has obviously set the bar so high that my experience with Dr. Grabner has left a severely bad taste in my mouth. But, unfortunately with the lack in family doctors you have to take whatever you can get, and I got someone that if I had the choice would NOT choose her to treat me or my children. An example? Because of her 'wonderful' attitude toward her patients it makes you question whether you should make an appointment. I called Telehealth for my child and they suggested I make an appt ASAP. When I went in to see her she reprimanded me and told me that I should be at the hospital; she made me feel stupid and a neglectful parent. Not the best atmosphere for efficient medical treatment.

Dr. Grabner has her good days and her bad (like anyone else) but she should not bring it into the job. She put me on a med about 1 year ago that most Doctors know you should never give a women at child bearing age. I miscarried and started investing all meds I was on at the time and found out that that med caused miscarriages. I would bring my girls to her SICK she says its just a virus. I end up at the ER the next day the DR on call would look at me and say what took you so long to bring them in!! Meanwhile I just had them at Dr.Grabner's the previous day!! She is only in the office 2 days a week and some weeks not at all. SCHOOL? if not We believe she needs to be so she can know the difference between a virus and strep thought and the difference between a cold coming on and a ammonia. I have not taking my children nore my self or husband there in months its simply a waste of time. I would just have to bring them to a on call DR the next day to know whats really wrong with my girls!

I am amazed at all the negative remarks. I have always found Claudia to be friendly and to have a great sense of humour. Maybe you get what you give. Wait times in the main office are almost zero, in the inner offices 5 - 10 mins. Can be hard to get an appointment quickly but thats the age we live in. FAR better than the two Dr's I had before her at the same clinic. Seems to take an interest in my health and always has my data at her fingertips. She can only get better as her experience grows and I would recommend Cladia to any of my friends no worries.

I am amazed at some of the comments on My docyor . My wife and daughter and I, have been with Dr. grabner from day one .We have always gotten an appointment in good time , and waiting time in office is minimal .It is true the Doctor puts in hrs at EMRG , and what better place apply the knowledge of Her chosen trade . The days of expecting Your doctor to know evry detail of your life , OFF the top of thier heads , are gone . It is smart to have your refill info with you in notes etc. . Dr. grabners knowledge is vast for a new doctor , and has many sources to help with decisions . I and my family went to this doctor , after being told wks before , by a " well experienced doctor " that .." I had too many health problems for that doctor" ( whom I will be checking next on this forum ).To end , We are very happy with Dr. Grabner .
