I never felt a real connection to her. In follow-ups she'd ask how I then adjusted meds or say meds are fine for now. Meds never worked so she just upped the dose. She never really asked probing questions about how I really was. Stopped going cause I didn't think the meds were helping me. She was older so I think that was the problem.

Run from this doctor. A family member went to her for 6 months and all she does is prescribe Rx meds. After 6 months they were receiving over 600 Rx pills per month - is it a miracle they didn't OD. My family member landed in detox and rehab due to Rx med addiction - prescribed solely by this doctor. If you or are loved one are seeing this doctor have another medical professional review your Rx history IMMEDIATELY.

My advice to anyone reading this is don't waste your valuable time! Please listen and run!!!Wait the extra time for a psychiatrist that will actually treat you!!! There are no words to describe how horrible this woman was and the anger we experienced as a result of our visit! We waited over 45 minutes for our appointment, 3x's as long as the actual consultation. She asked absolutely no pertinent ?'s, nor did she offer any insight into my husband's condition! What she did offer were drugs, and lots of them! It was his first (and last) appointment and all she asked were basic ?'s that the family doctor would ask. There were no ?'s about any possible sources of his depression or the abuse he suffered that led up to his current state in the 15 minutes we saw her. She almost immediately wrote up 2 prescriptions, 1 of which is dangerous because of my husband's blood pressure. When asked what the actual problem was, she condescendingly said that wasn't important, just take the pills! So Run!

My daughter has OCD but when she was having anxiety attacks the OCD became severe and causing her to have uncontrollable OCD. She would cry and worry about the world and things she cannot control. She couldn't sleep, she couldn't socialize with the kids in school. It was ruining her life. After the first visit with Dr. Keene she was put on a prescription that made her feel tired at first but now that her body has adjusted to it she feels fine and no longer has any worries that take over her thoughts that cause her to have a meltdown. She is able to process her thoughts in a rational way. My daughter visits with the doctor once per month. She is a happy young lady.

I have been a patient for about a 1 1/2 years. After advising her several times of medication making me feel ill, she scolded me for not taking them regularly. After the 4 month she stretched my appointments to 1-2 months. After the 4th time of advising my meds were still not working for me after changing 1 of them she ultimately told me i was a risk to myself and she take the liabilty of me harming myself for not wanting to feel like a zombie, this is after treating me for a year and i was about to apply for state disability. I believe it was the paperwork and unability to get feeling normal oppose to feeling drowsy and tired all day everyday. How is that normal?

If you are looking for a psychatrist to give you all the meds you need including an unlimited supply of addictive benzodiazipines, she's the one for you. We call her Dr. Feelgood because as long as you pay her, she will give you whatever you ask for. She has little concern for what is going on with you medically, she doesn't even ask. Her specailty is writing scripts and keeping you as sedated as possible. She considers you a difficult patient if you do not respond well to taking 14 differnt medications that actually make you suicidal after years of non-suicidal behavior. Instead of re-evaluating the medication, she blames the patient and calls them treatment resistant which is absurd and only reinforces the fact that this doctor does not want to trat patients, but only wants to medicate them and get paid. This is one to avoid, unless of course your addicted to benzo's, then she's the doc for you.

Has helped me tremendously. Because of Dr. Keene I am living my life instead of watching it go by. She understands me so much that she can finish my thoughts and be totally correct. She really takes the time to listen and is genuinely concerned about my well-being. I am so glad that I found her.
