I went to Dr. Laughlin from 1993 to 2012. I found her extremely knowlegible. After reading some of the other comments, I would not say that Dr. Laughlin is in no way disinterested in her patients. I found her answers to any question I had to be clear and concise.

Dr. Laughlin is mostly concerned about the scheduled 20 minutes of time blocked for her to see you, she wants you in and out of the office as quickly as possible. Her approach is very impersonal and aloof. She speaks to you in a condescending tone and dismisses you with the comment of "I don't mean to sound cavalier"... If you need make any additional requests expect to be denied since she does everything by "protocal". Since we were not allowed to use another doctor in their practice as our primary physician, I am now looking for a new doctor for my family of six. It is unfortunate since we have been with this practice for over 15 years.

I have also been going to Dr Laughlin for along time. She used to be so nice & very attentive & nice to talk to. Now, she is confrontational with anything you say. When she was filling out my Blood-work form she refused when I asked if they could check my cholesterol. She said last years results were good and I didn't need it done this year. I asked again (since I'm getting my blood work done ANYWAYS)saying I would like to know what it is - she again refused & was stern that last years was fine & I didn't need it done for 3 years if your results were good. It's that response with everything you ask - I'll never go back after this year & I've been going to her for around 8 years.

I've been going to Dr. Laughlin for well over ten years. I hate to say it, but she's changed quite a bit. It is SO TRUE she makes you feel guilty about asking any question (about your own health) besides what you made your appointment for. She NEVER used to be like that. I can understand having to keep to a schedule, but I felt really guilty about asking a question (about vaccinations!). She IS very knowledgeable. Waits in the waiting room have varied from 30-45 minutes.

Dr. Laughlin is very smart and can give good information, but if you ask one thing you did not tell the receptionist about when making your appointment she becomes very condescending and makes you feel guilty about asking questions about your own health. The whole office is all about how fast they can get you in and out. If you are a person that likes having one on one time with your doctor without feeling pressured to hurry your visit, please choose someone else.

Dr. Laughlin rocks. Attentive, compassionate and supremely competent. Her office staff is the polar opposite. She makes the fight through the obstinance of her jaded drones worthwhile.
