Dr Friedman and his staff are the BEST!!! I highly recommend this practice. Dr. F is a no nonsense, straight to the point doctor. He and his staff are very caring, friendly and helpful. I have been with his practice for 12 years. I sadly had to find a new doctor b/c we moved from LA to SD. I have seen a lot of OBGYNs during my second pregnancy, b/c we travel a lot and moved, and I have not even come close to finding the quality of care that Dr. Friedman and his staff provide. Thank you Dr. F and staff for the years of amazing care you provided me.

Dr. Friedman staff was talking the whole time while I was waiting in the front. I waited 45 minutes and then got called in. This was the firs issue. The next issue was Dr. Friedman. Very un-proffesional, he commented on my belly button ring "This is cute" I'm sorry but that's disgusting commenting on that. Second he was doing my pap and because he was a male theres has to be a nurse in the room at ALL times... the nurse was in and out of the room. (I'm sorry but if you forgot something have the doctor leave the room to get it not the nurse) Third he did my pap and took quite some time, ( this wasn't the first time I've has these done.. so I know how long it takes) he then checked me rectal and didn't even tell me. HE just put his finger in me and said "well since your here might as well check". I'm in my early 20's, you only get that done if your older than 50. I would NEVER go back! I do not suggest this doctor at all! Hope this is helpful.

I decided to change OBGYN's mid-way through my pregnancy because I didn't like my previous one and I am glad that I did. Dr. Friedman is worth the drive. He is very considerate, compassionate, and very outgoing. Not to mention, his staff is very friendly and I never have to wait over 10min. from my appt time. Also, if you ever have any questions for the dr. the staff is very good at relaying the message to him and getting back to you promptly. The only thing that I do not like, is the ultrasound equipment, it is super old and it is very hard to see the baby. But even with this flaw, I would still recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Friedman delived my baby last August. He was very professional and he always took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. His staff were amazing too. I ended up at the hospital for preterm labor and he took the time to check on me everyday to make sure I was okay and was comfortable. Dr. Friedman and his staff knew me by my name. Other doctors I've had would have to look at my chard to figure out what my name is. They really care about their patients. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN.

Dr. Friedman was a very fortunate find. I had a nightmarish experience with another OB in the same office building! I found Dr. F based on his great reviews here, and he really comes through. He took time on every single visit to answer all my questions, regardless of how long it took. Amazingly, he still manages to be punctual. I usually waited only 10 mins, and the longest I ever waited for him was 25 mins once. He was caring throughout my pregnancy and respected my wishes much more than most doctors, especially my last OB! He will respect your wishes, but will be firm and let you know what the medical standards are that he has to comply with. That firmness is important to safely deliver your baby, which he did after keeping me on some bed-rest for preterm labor. I am so glad I switched my care to him. I have a healthy baby girl, over a year old now, so I'm a bit late to write this review. But, I haven't forgotten his kindness during my pregnancy, and had to write to credit him.

He is a really amazing OB. I went to him after going to another OB, and the difference was like night and day. The office is small and welcoming. The staff are friendly and comforting. Dr. Friedman is thoughtful and conservative in the way that he runs things. Sometimes you can feel like going to a doctor is like going to a car mechanic - they will "fix" whatevers "wrong" without much thought. But Dr. Friedman is a man you can trust. I have full confidence in Dr. Friedman delivering my first baby. He's put my terrified mind at ease, and he's held my hand every step of the way. I wasn't completely sure I wanted to go to a male OB at first. Now, however, I know I made the right choice. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone, and I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Friedman.

Loved him. His bedside manner was awesome. He connected so well with my husband which was very much needed for his sense of peace. Delivered 2 babies afterward and neither experience came close to the first.

Good Dr and bedside manner, can be flippant but likely b/c he's done this for 25+yr. That said, he was never condescending, he is frank/honest and has a sense of humor. He laughed off my question about using a birthing stool or birthing bar and didn't discuss it, so he doesn't seem to be open to assistive birth methods, but if you want a doula or other tool/person, i don't think he would object. I'd recommend him, just be aware that one of the older nurses on his staff can be quite rude, but the other two nurses are very nice and patient.
