In a packed Church, We said good-bye today to an extraordinary man.
My family doctor (Dutczak) of thirty years, he was someone I trusted, respected & admired so much!
Not only a doctor, but the doctor of all doctors - relentlessly supporting his patients - going above and way way way beyond he was a therapist, and a friend. Dr D often worked 60 hour work weeks and if a patient was in distress would stay til any hour to help.
Once I searched his name on online and he had hundreds of reviews and not one single review was under 5 ⭐️
I told him about this, and questioned how is it even possible to keep EVERYONE satisfied in a world where we are always ready for a complaint? He just smiled. So humble.
This man was a HUGE presence in the beach area where I grew up & he will be profoundly missed by SO MANY. They broke the mold when they made you Dr. D and, I am forever grateful to you & Carmen for taking such good care of me since I was just thirteen years old when my Mom first brought me into your office.
Rest in Peace.

Found out yesterday....do wish we could have spoken one more time .
I would like to thank you for all your help over the past 30 years.
Kind...compassionate...knowledgeable...and helpful.....truly one of the better doctors in this city....
You were missed when you retired....you will be missed even more now that you are gone.
Our kindest thoughts to your family in this most difficult time.

I am really saddened to hear that Dr. Dutczak has retired. I come across the name of Doctor Malek that supposedly has records for me when I was Doctor Dutczaks's patient. They told me that they only have 2 pages of records and I find this difficult to believe???? I was a patient of Dr Dutcaks since he was in a practice previous to Queen East Medical Centre and this was previous to 1989 I do believe? If anyone is reading this. Please tell me how I can find out where all my medical records are, please? Thank Charmaine Jensen

Dr. Dutczak cared for my family in the last 16 years or so. I have had interaction with hundreds of doctors in my life and he is the only one who truly cared. His knowledge was impeccable and always updated. He took time to explain using diagrams. He was old school. Beside working 60 hours in his clinic he was caring for his sick mother. I owe a lot to this doctor. When I heard about his retirement I knew it was inevitable sooner or later but it hit me like a ton of bricks. We felt orphaned and alone. Since then we tried a few new doctors and felt disappointed. These young new doctors have a lot of arrogance that is not supported either by knowledge, nor experience.

Dr. D was my doctor since 1993 right up until he retired, the best doctor I've ever had. Thank you Dutczak for caring for myself and my kids. Thank you for the house visits when my kids were sick, and thank you for taking the time to explain any medical questions I had. You will be greatly missed as our family doctor.

Carmen, you were always friendly and very helpful. Thank you for being a great secretary.
