Dr. Dobrogovski treated my eyes (glaucoma also cataract surgery) over a very long time period, apx 25 years or so. I was always in total awe of his dedication, thoroughness, knowledge, professionalism and just enormous goodwill. I was relatively young when I first met him and my glaucoma was just stubbornly not wanting to respond to treatment. He kept on trying different things, meds, laser etc. Eventually a new medication came out - just became approved in Canada and he did find a way for me to get it. My eye pressure stayed below 20 ever since. He also did a very successful cataract surgery including a small correction of my vision. He was totally mindful of how scared I was having this condition (especially in the beginning). Always gentle, but factual and supportive and positive. I no longer see him as I have mobility issues, and live a bit too far. But there is NO ONE like him. GOD BLESS him, personally and professionally so he can bring healing to many more. PS. His assistant I found to be amazingly efficient!

Dr Mike did my glaucoma surgery a year ago. I only have the one eye. I lost the other eye to glaucoma. Another surgeon tried three operations but could not save it. I am so grateful for the gift of sight. Dr Mike was very professional and kind. He even let me choose my own music to have played during surgery. Nice touch! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Mike has been primary in my keeping my vision, firstly treating my cataracts, then the glaucoma in both eyes, & then monitoring my macular degeneration b/o my oval-shaped eyeball. He is thoughtful & very kind. Much gratitude to him. Amy at the front desk is a dear - helpful & alert.

Dr. Dobrogowski医生礼貌亲切，仔细做了很多检查，也频问问题，望闻问切到位。
最后拿出大块样板图解析，说进行雷射 Yag Peripheral Iridotomy 成功率九成，万一不行可以滴药水治疗，俺同意了！

Dr. Dobrogowski 开了术后消炎眼药水处方，主动握手告别。
第二天，进行手术。Dr. Dobrogowski 给俺滴药水，休息一会后进行雷射，两分钟搞定
Dr. Dobrogowski帮忙滴消炎眼药水 Prednisolone Opth Drops (Teva) 1%，吩咐两天内不能搬重物、运动或桑拿。术后第一第二天每小时滴消炎眼药水(除了睡觉时)，第三第四天每两小时滴，第五日一天滴四次

一周后检查正常，随即完成雷射另一只眼。随后复诊，Dr. Dobrogowski用仪器仔细检查双目，说治疗效果显着，九成机率永不复发。并且称赞验光师的诊断很精确，建议继续每年例行验眼。俺开心握手道谢告别，谢谢Dr. Dobrogowski

This is the Doc you want operating on you, the best bar none. He has done trabeculectomy to my bad left eye which saved it, then did cataract surgery and cleaned up scar tissue from the previous surgery. I'm 59 and have spent my life motorcycle racing/riding, and before Dr. Dobro repaired all the damage in my eye from a hockey ball crushing it 35 years ago my sight had deteriorated to having no depth perception and a real loss of vision. I can see clearly again, my vision is better than it has been my whole life, as I've been wearing glasses since I was 5, and his calm demeanor and instructions on care have changed my life, literally. I have been back on the racetrack with zero eye issues, and I wept when I left his office yesterday after the all clear from the latest surgery. Huge thanks to Amy at the front desk as well, these two are gold. You want a surgeon to fix you go see Dr. Dobro, tell him Ted sent you..............and don't worry about going to Mt. Saint Josephs either, the staff that works with the Doc are incredible, make sure Caroline is there to help you. Thanks Dr. D, you are the man...............

Before I started typing I read lot’s of comments about Dr. Dobrogowski. Yes, perhaps he seems rushed, a bit impersonal and so on. I was referred to him from Small Town BC. On a phone to set up appointment his secretary was most helpful, assuring me that they will do all necessary to see me when I get there. It’s true, his secretary starts after him, but did anyone consider that maybe she has small kids and they need to get to school? Good for her if he let her have that flexibility. Appointment was at 8:15 and he got to see me 1hr later, O.K. late but the sly didn’t fall down because of that. After some time examining me he asked his secretary to talk to testing lab 1 floor up into performing test on me immediately because I’m out of town and he needed that. Normally that would take few weeks. I heard her negotiating with people upstairs so it could be done for be at this visit. Going up 1 floor and back in 30 minutes with results. Then the real news came from him. Discovered problem other specialist missed. Yeah, he seems to be rushed but I don’t want nor need a doctor to massage my ego or behave like he is there to entertain me. I want a competent specialist, who is good at his job. And there is no question about THAT. And his secretary? No problem at all if you go from A to Z and don’t pull any nonsense or whining. I think these 2 people were very professional and they would bent backwards to accommodate me in any way. No extra fluff, just a straightforward business. If you pay them visit at their office and see the amount of people relying on them you’ll understand the attitude. If you don’t like it, find another eye specialist, you have that luxury in Vancouver. For me the closest Ophtamologist is hundreds of kilometers away and so when I see one I’m looking for performance, not entertainment. And Dr. Dobrogowski and his secretary are very good at what they are doing. Period. Have some GRATITUDE people.

I lost one eye after spending thousands of dollars for the newest glaucoma implants in Toronto.
I was then referred to Dr Dobrowski when my eye eye see with was losing sight to glaucoma. Her operated on me 14 months ago and has not only stopped the glaucoma but now I need no glaucoma drops. It also didn't cost me a penny. He is intense but demands the most from himself to get a perfect result. For me he was a life saver. I have him to thank for my being able to enjoy saying things on my bucket list of traveling around the world. I recommend him highly.

I was referred from out of town to see this guy. The person that referred me was also a glaucoma specialist but felt my problem was too challenging. The fact that it was also my only seeing eye my have also factored in. Anyway from the first moment I met this doctor I had total confidence. It is now 6 months since he operated and my glaucoma is still in check using no eye medicines. I found him to be professional, and very caring. He even asked me what music I wanted to listen to before surgery. Nice touch. I don't know if he wanted to listen to AC/DC while he was operating but he agreed to it and it put me at ease. Thanks Dr Dobrogowski!
