Dr west is deceased. Was a very good doctor while in practice.

I LOVE DR. WEST!!!! He is wonderful. He has done surgery on me, my husband, my father n law and brother n law!! He is warm, compassionate, funny, and has great bed side manners. I always recommend him if someone needs a gen surgeon. He did emergency surgery on my in 2011 and my husband in 2008. He is very helpfull and knowledgable. He new where I had to have surgery I was concerned with scarring and he did a great job with the two areas he had to cut out of me. He is great and so is his nurse and staff

This surgeon is not the best choice if you are considered overweight. He will focus on the weight itself and not the problem. If you are slender or underweight he would probably make a wonderful surgeon for you. If you have any weight though, you would probably feel more comfortable going to a different surgeon.
