Dr Fatland was an awesome dentist. What I really liked about him was that he whistled while he worked. When his partner, dr Hewitt dies, he became Performance Dental. Suddenly the money is what became improtant. He wanted to cap one of my son's teeth, yet his partner said it only needed to be scaled down. His billing receptionist may know insurance, but has ZERO people skills. She put me off for a weeekend while i was in pain and when I called Monday, she offered me a Wednesday appt. i just dropped in and got taken care of. NowI get emails from Dr fatlands son, who is also a dentist, trying to sell me acai berry? I have to say, I really like him as a dentist.

The staff recommended treatment based upon what my insurance would cover, rather than what I needed. My insurance covered a lot, so they wanted to set-up weekly appointments to get as much money as they could from my insurance company. Also, they did this for our children too. We later found out we were billed for the insurance write-off. They refused to explain how they came to the total we owe. Also, we think we were billed for work they did not do. Our new dentist keeps asking why we think this or that was done. When we say, "Well, that's what the Performance Dental said they did." He says, "Well, they might have said it, but they didn't do it." Be careful
