Dr. Hantverk is great. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and cares. His staff is horrible. They're short and discourteous. I wouldn't say rude, because that would mean they communicate with you.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Hantverk for almost 20 years and trust him completely. He is thorough, patient, and knowledgeable.

Great Dr. but unfortunately his office staff is rude. Additionally, they do not return calls, and often screw up the results. It is too bad that such a class and intelligent physician saddles himself with such a poor support staff. I have thought about leaving him because of his horrible support staff. He is, however, wonderful. Is it worth it to endure a nasty office staff? not sure.

Brilliant diagnostician, in addition to being just a wonderful human being. Very approachable and most definitely caring! Our entire family have used Dr. Hantverk for more than 20 yrs.

Great Dr. My family and I have been going for years. Very intelligent and caring. Goes out of his way. Will truly listen. Cant say enough. Helped me through some very strange illnesses. Not only is he great, but was able to reccomend some other incredible specialists.

Dr Hantverk is the best doctor you can find!! Absolute best!! You may have to wait because he takes the time necessary with his patients..so have some patience..

I was sad to see that some patients rated Dr. Jeds staff so severely. The staff that are there the longest like Eva are extremely efficient.His nurses excellent. New office staff not so much. Dr. Jed is the one being rated however and he is the most caring, concerned, knowledgeable physician I have ever had. He listens (really listens) and is an excellent doctor.He took care of my mom in her 90's as if she were going to live forever and she did live to 100. You would be lucky to have him as your doctor. The wait is not unusually long and if it were I would wait. He is the epitomy of a family doctor.

Dr. Jed has been my physician for about 20 years. Even though I moved about 20 miles away I would not consider using anyone else. He's smart, he listens to you, he's compassionate and dedicated. The only complaints I've ever had are that he's often overscheduled, you rarely get in to see him at the time of your appointment and he's affiliated with an awful hospital (North Shore/Plainview). I've also found the office staff to be exceptionally helpful and friendly but that may be because I've been a patient there so long and I know them all.
