Dr Ross performed an otoplasty on my daughter's ears. It was a very easy process and we are very happy with the result.
Everyone was super nice and easy to deal with. Danni who deals with admin and post op contact is fantastic and so are the staff at Sir John Monash Private Hospital.

Dr Ross I was so afraid of having surgery on my face for so many years! Thats what happens when you watch blotched! I remember when you told me it was nothing but deep down I was really scared. I have seen others who had the same procedure and they still have this hanging skin. I remember you explaining to me the difference between a cosmetic surgeon and a plastic surgeon. I guess you get what you pay for. Thank you for the amazing work you did removing those fat pads under my eyes and the excess skin including upper eye lid. Was I scared even after the surgery - YES. Did it hurt? NO except for when you removed the stitches. You could see the results. I couldn't. You kept telling me the swelling is going down and it wasn't till I came back to have some more stitches and an eye lash that looked like a stitch after swelling went down that I could see the enormous difference! I thought my right eye was permanently going to droop after surgery but you were right! It was just slower to heal compared to the left! Thank you for staying optimistic and your smile when I squealed when you removed the stitches! all worth it! Im glad we maintained the first 48 hrs, changing the ice packs every 1/2 hr and then every hour till the 72 mark. I was so scared I made sure we stuck to your directions. Its been nearly 3 months now and what a difference! I don't know why I ended up having fat pads but Im glad to finally have them gone. Finally I look 55 and not older than my age! I have highly recommended you to family and friends and explained sometimes you just have to pay to get the result. Please buy that ice maker I suggested so that before you pull out stitches you really make the area cold!!! I guess it wasn't that bad because I was still bruised when the first lot you pulled out. I guess everyone is different and not to forget I am on blood thinners so that wouldn't have helped. No infection either which I'm also prone to. Also your staff are amazing and optimistic too! I am writing to thank you for your skill, treatment and patience in working with me for my procedure/s.

I do not have much experience with such matters and found you to be encouraging and enlightening. The process was seamless and recovery quicker than I had thought. These processes can be clinical however, I found you to be humorous whilst thoroughly professional. Do you go as far as saying enjoyable, perhaps not but you most certainly made the process easy. I found your secretary outstanding as well, making my requests for photographs and explanation of the accounting side simple.

Thank you again I will be sure to recommend you should anyone require, request or seek my council on such matters.

I do hope this is not a weird letter for you to receive, it is just too often people complain and seldom compliment. You and your practice deserve compliments.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. David Ross perform my Bilateral Breast Reduction and Mammoplasty. I am extremely happy and grateful to him for the massive improvement in my life. I am now able to take part in varying physical activities which I had struggled with prior to the surgery. I no longer experience back or neck pain, and I sleep soundly. I found Dr. Ross highly professional, knowledgeable, empathetic and caring at all times. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Ross for anyone considering this surgery.

My experience with Dr Ross and the Bayside Plastic Surgery team has been an incredible journey. I am a 30 year old female and had never had surgery before. Going into my consultation I was extremely nervous and am generally an anxious person and the thought of getting surgery was uncomfortable however, Dr Ross reassured me every step of the way. I had a Septorhinoplasty and turbinate removal with Dr Ross in September. I had various breathing issues and was not happy with the shape of my nose. I am now 6 weeks post op and am absolutely loving my new nose and have never breathed fresher air than now. It hasn't even healed yet and the results are amazing! Dr Ross genuinely cared about my concerns and exceeded my expectations. He is kind, honest, transparent and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. Having a nose surgery is a scary experience but the team Danni and Terri and Dr Ross were there to support my concerns every step of the way. Danni and Terri are both amazing and understanding of the process, they helped me get through my anxiety! I can’t rate the team highly enough, they are incredible and would recommend Dr Ross to anyone having surgery. I feel like my life has just begun and have gained a new level of confidence. It has been life changing for me and I have absolutely no regrets! Thank you Dr Ross and team :)

I am writing this to the person that called Dr Ross a butcher l also had the same producer done buy Dr Ross l don’t believe that he is a butcher when you have such a producer done you should be aware that things can go wrong that’s the chance you take l also had the same problem as yours but you just have to accept it it is actually called necrosis where the skin dies l also had a skin graft done on my arm and it’s not that bad in the long run at least everything healed . I do t think he should be judge so harshly l also had a lot of producers done by Dr Ross and l was great full for all that he has done for me . He is a great plastic surgeon he has a lot of knowledge in different areas of his field .

Dr Ross is a butcher. I ended up with a massive hole in my leg and it was the worst decision of my life getting this surgery done. I ended up in hospital for about a month due to infection and had to have a skin graft to fill the hole which he took from my arm so now I have a horrific scar on my arm about 10cm x 15cm from where the graft was taken which can be seen whenever I’m wearing a t-shirt. And the crater that’s left in my leg is just horrible. Scarring under arms is also pretty bad from excess skin removal. Tummy tuck was good but skin removal from legs and arms was terrible.

Very happy with Dr Ross and my surgery outcome. It wasn’t an easy decision to get the major surgery but I finally made a decision to do it. His prices are very reasonable especially compared with a well known cosmetic surgeon who is less qualified but quoted thousands more for the same procedure! I was a bit anxious during my recovery time after the surgery as I was worried about whether i was healing well or not but every time I phoned the clinic or the Doctor they were so helpful and informative and really put me at ease and were prompt in getting back to me. It pays to remember to ask the surgeon at follow up appointments afterwards any questions you have and follow the aftercare directions they give. I also got support after my surgery from my physio and gp which helped with my speedy recovery too and commented on how clean a job the surgeon did. Patients should be proactive in their aftercare as well. The office staff were great namely Dani and Terri who are really thorough and professional and kind. Highly recommend this surgeon! Very experienced and qualified. Doctor Ross has a unique straightforward approach but I got used to his style and felt very comfortable with him over time.
