I interviewed Dr. McIntire before my baby was born and liked her. She has cared for her from the day she was born. On my daughter's 6 month visit, I made an appointment for her nine month visit. I showed up only to find a sign taped to the door stating that Dr. McIntire had moved. I had no prior notice. I showed up at the new location only to discover that it is in the basement of a rundown building downtown. My appointment was at 9am. By 10:15, my daughter still had not been called back. When I questioned this, I was told that a 9:00 appointment does not mean you will get seen at 9 . Umm, that's actually the definition of an appointment. I say that's when I'll show up and you agree that I will be seen reasonably close to that time. The snotty guy behind the desk explained that he had to wait for a dr. once for two hours. So? That just means that that dr. was doing a poor job as well! If you are that behind at 9 oclock in the morning, you are doing something wrong. Unacceptable.

She has been our son's doctor for 3 years. Very patient with him when he was 3 year old and he only understood Italian, and no English. Now he speaks English and adores her. Always the perfect diagnosis, and the best treatments. Thank you!!

Went to Dr. McIntire for the care of our newborn son. Switched doctors after less than a week. Went to a much better doctor that was much more knowledgeable and compassionate. Did go to a pre-doctor visit before our son was born and liked Dr. McIntire, but quickly changed my opinion after our son was here. Our son was circumcised and has not healed very quickly ... still after a year there are issues. Also, our son was jaundice and not treated as well as should have been. Dr. suggested that we go to soy formula and me stop breastfeeding. Didn't seem right, so we went to another doctor and this doctor said that was a terrible choice. I continued to breastfeed and my son turned around after proper doctor care from the new doctor.
