Dr Hishmeh is a one of a kind oral surgron who knows how to handle a rattled, first rate scaredy cat like me. He talks with me, he makes me laugh and stays by me the entire time he's pulling a tooth! The next instance he's done and I barely felt a thing!! Hooray for being a dentist who knows how to handle a scaredy cat!!

This practice lacks a lot when it comes to disseminating information regarding your care. You get 25% of information before the day of service, and you are loaded with 75% on the day of service. Dr. Hishmeh is good with tooth extraction but I am not sure about professional relationship with patient. When you need more complex services, eg. bone graft and implants, you really need to ask questions about the cost implications. The office staff needs more training; crooked smiles and dry jokes are not enough!

I was in for a dental implant. I was told that my portion of the bill would be approximately $890 and that a pre-authorization had been submitted. I had to call several times to get this information. When I got my bill, I saw that the $890 was for a bone graft that I DIDN'T NEED. At no time was I told that this procedure would be $3883.00. Now I have no idea how much I am actually going to have to pay and what the insurance will cover. Why would they think that I was going to have a bone graft but no implant? Why wouldn't they have given me all the information I needed to plan for this?

I can't believe that no one thought that I would need to know how much this would cost. I now have to budget for much more than I was originally led to believe. This level of indifference to the financial needs of a patient is completely unacceptable.

Dr. Hishmeh was great, but his staff is incompetent.

Dr. Hishmeh is the ultimate professional. He is good-natured and compassionate and will answer any and all questions. Plus, he is tops in his field. He pulled a wisdom tooth in less than 5 minutes, start to finish. I never felt a thing, including the needles. I recommend him highly.
