I believe she has moved to Tilsonburg now. I had her for about 5 years. Her staff is absolutely the worst staff I have ever seen in my life. When you go to the window they don't look up and when the finally do they act like you are bothering them. God knows don't ask for anything "extra" or they will sigh and carry on. They say they have faxed something when indeed they have not. This includes calling or faxing for specialist appointments. I will call the specialist when it's getting months down the road and they tell me nothing was ever received. The staff swear they sent it and although it would bother them they will send it again. So anyways Dr. Dowe is a very nice Dr. , knowledgable, will take time to talk to you. Sometimes she doesn't follow through with renewal of prescriptons or whatnot because she writes everything down on a little piece of paper instead of typing into the computer like everyone else. Also she does anesthesiology at the hospital so she is unavailable a lot more lately. I think she could have picked one or the other. I always understood (or the way it worked when I lived in a different city) that a group practice which you have to sign meant that if your Dr. could not see you then 1 of the other Drs in the group would see you. That didn't happen ever here. I'm not sure why you have to sign the paper to stay in the group when no one else will see you unless you have to go to the clinic. Anyways sorry to rant but all in all I like the Dr. ; just wish the rest of it didn't go along with her! Wait till you see her replacement, you would think Dr. Dowe was an angel!
