If I could give her 0 stars I would. People need to be warned about her. There was no one else I could see within this year so when my cardiologist sent in a psych referral to get me on proper medication she was who I saw. I had seen her about a year ago as well to try and get proper medication for ADHD and depression, and she put me on bipolar medication which only made my mental health worse because I have ADHD and autism. She flat out told me that she thinks ADHD is made up and that I was exhibiting drugs seeking behaviors. After a lot of back and forth fighting she finally put me on an extremely low dose of ADHD medication and fought me anytime I try to increase the dosage or older times that I could refill my medication based on my schedule. This time I went in on my cardiologist referral to get proper medication rather than just taking caffeine pills and she again told me that there was nothing she could give me and that I was fine. This woman is on a power trip and it feels like she hasn't actually read any updated research since she left grad school 40 years ago. Unfortunately the complaint and advocacy protocol for the hospital is inaccessible to many and so it's nearly impossible to get her out of public practice, but frankly I think her license should be revoked.

What a quack! No Dr. Dagnone here one bit! She has limited knowledge about patients overall mental health. Clearly has poor communication skills (language/culture), can not communicate effectively. Limited insight into pre existing conditions. I’m telling you, the list can go on n on! I strongly feel, CPSO should be contacted to review her practice and work ethic and health teaching and recommendations! She’s a work in progress, keep your eye out and watch, listen and document!

Dr. Marin told me I was incapable of working and bribed me to take inappropriate medication. The bribe was that she would sign me up for a disability check. The meds messed me up! I am now on no meds, not on disability, and working a full time job just fine

This lady should not be a doctor. Abuse of power and complete incompetence.

Took me off my meds and told me I didn’t need any, my life then went into a downward spiral and had to wait a month between visits

I have had a poor experience with my mental health care due to extreme c-ptsd from living with my alcoholic father as a university educated adult. I was sent to the ITTP program after leaving the hospital on a medication that only caused negative side effects with me. I have been told my many staff members with KHSC that my use of weed to cope was more of a problem than my dad being abusive towards me so I have a lot of negative things to say about KHSC in general. I also have many positive things, I just think they are very anti marijuana and it affects their care plan for patients. Anyways I was taken off of my stimulent medication early on in my care and wanted to be put back on it for school since in person courses are back now. I was given an ultimatum by Dr Marin that I quit the weed and she would give me my medication that I need to function in social settings and school settings. She also only prescribed me a dosage that would be effective for a child and I am a 23 year old adult. After this appointment we were supposed to have another appointment 2 weeks later, I was never called or sent a link to the appointment and the office has still yet to return my various messages. It’s been 3 weeks.

I like that she is straight forward. If she tells you to do something and you say no she shrugs and switches tactics. I think she's great and am grateful for her help. One if the best I've seen in my 66 years.

I was recommended Dr. Alina Marin by someone in the ITTP program, at first I though of her as one of the rest. Started off that way but then like a masterful stroke of tact and confidence we found a way that has aided me in my recovery. I hate to be sentimental but if I was stuck in the place down under I would chose her to pull be out 10/10 full stars. Keep searching till you find the right one, I sure did after a long line of pain and abandonment.
