I did a lot of research before i went to see dr Kastanos with a BADLY torn R rotator cuff. I can only praise him for his dedication and knowledge. I can only recomment him because of first hand experience.

Dr Kastanos took care of a snapped bicep tendon 17 years ago. Brilliantly healed and even now, 18 years later, I don't remember it even tore. Will go see him now for an injured shoulder. I have no doubt I will have the same result.

Found Dr Kastanos brilliant..fixed my shoulder that a previous orthopedic surgeon operated on. Was told that it would take 1 year for my shoulder would be rehabilitated. Two months to go and shoulder working perfectly. Forever gratefull.

Brilliant! After everything that could go wrong with a shoulder (dislocation, socket broken off, shattered bone, torn ligaments and 6 weeks of incorrect grown together scar tissue and frozen shoulder), he performed open shoukder surgery on me. I followed his advise on physio etc and recovered 99% a couple of months later, exactly as he prrdicted. This was 10 years ago and I will eternally be grateful.

He also twice performed orthroscopies on my 75 year old father on both shoulders and he recovered 100%!! Unbelievable!!

Best in his field! Shattered my radial head in my elbow during a rugby game. He has stitched my bones together like a jigsaw puzzle with a plate and screws. He could've taken the easier and shorter route like he initially planned. But after opening up and seeing the health of my bones he decided on the longer more beneficial route for me. After the opp I went on playing 5 years of provincial rugby at the Bulls. This man is Amazing. Very steict but a wonder worker. I have full function of my elbow and hand, which was a concern before the opp. I have heard of some horror elbow opps gone wrong. Glad I've made the the right choice. 16 years later and I still admire his work!!!!

The best in his field! Have had experience with other Orthopedic Surgeons non can compare with Dr Kastanos. He knows what he is doing, if you just listen and follow his instructions you will recover asap! Truly outstanding!
