When I presented in the ER at St Martha’s with severe back pain and weakness in my legs I was examined by Dr Chisholm. I was promptly sent for X-ray and CT scan. Dr Chisholm consulted with radiology and the on call neurosurgeon. She ordered an MRI which was done 4 days later. 4 days after the MRI I was in Halifax having surgery on my back. Without this quick action I would likely be living out my days in a wheel chair. I am eternally great full for Dr Chisholm’s care and referrals that day in the ER. You saved my life and I thank you.

I am very happy with the care I received from dr Chisholm. I found her bedside manner to be very calming when I was in distress at the emergency room. Having trouble with mental health is very new to me and she took the time to explain everything. The medication she prescribed is working. I will follow up with my own doctor- but am very thankful she could see me on the weekend at st Martha’s.
