Doctor Shakeri changed my life and I don’t know where I would be without her care. I saw her weekly for 2 years in outpatient psychiatry at Royal Columbian Hospital. We worked through my anxiety and PTSD due to sexual assault. She is incredibly compassionate and patient. Therapy was never scary or embarassing; I felt like I was speaking with a friend. I’ve moved away now, and sometimes when the going gets tough I miss her, but that being said I am much better equipped to handle the stress on my own. :) and I am comforted to know that she is helping others just like me.
